“Can I talk to you?”
“Of course.” Luke says, leaning back in his chair. Mando looks extremely pained as he opens his mouth.
“Luke.” He says, looking as if it took every inch of his self discipline to drag out the single syllable of Luke’s name, “- I need your help.”
“Try saying it like you aren’t getting a lobotomy.”
“Grogu wants to celebrate Christmas this year.” Mando says, evenly. “But I don’t know the first thing about Christmas.”
Whatever Luke was expecting it wasn’t that.
“Uh. What?”
“I didn’t celebrate Christmas as a kid." Mando looks increasingly frantic, “-you said you had perfect Christmases, what am I supposed to do?”

Din Djarin has never celebrated Christmas before in his life, and yet has an extremely precocious kid who wants to.
Faced with the humiliation of exposing his failures as a parent to his family and friends, he instead turns to the one person whose opinion of him probably can’t get any lower…. and vice versa.

“Mayfeld said you were a hard ass today,” Malk says, amused and Din shrugs.
“I’m always a hard ass.” He says, and the rest of them roar with laughter. Din doesn’t think it was that funny. He lets them talk over him for a while and suddenly gets that feeling again.
“Hey,” he says, “-do you guys feel… have you noticed something weird going on?”
“What, besides every normal fucking day?”
“No.” Din huffs, frustrated. “-I just feel like… something’s not right.”
They all look at eachother.
“You’ve been on shift for too long, Mando.” Malk says.
“Yeah.” Qin says, “-you’re losing it.”

It’s easy to get spooked on your first shift out on the rig. The close quarters, the endless days, the isolation, the unfathomable vastness of the sea.
Except, Mando’s no rookie. Just trying to keep his head down and work; he gets the sense that something’s not quite right. Well, something else besides his mysterious roommate he knows nothing about.
He’s proved right when men start vanishing without a trace. -

Krennic grins, and pulls a pendant out of his shirt. The blue crystal glints in the low light.
Luke whistles.
“Can I see?”
“No funny business”
“Who? Me?”
Luke picks up a loupe and holds the crystal up to the lens; Aurebesh glimmers inside the facets.
Krennic leans over the table.
“So. You in?”

Treasure hunting isn't really the family business. So Han smuggles the artefacts that Luke finds & Leia fences them, but they all have different priorities, alright?
Luke's is finishing what his father started.
When an old adversary gets a lead on the fabled artefact that he's been searching his whole life for; Luke has to follow it.
He comes to realise that while he might find more than what he’s been looking for; some things are hidden for a reason. -

Later, when Prince Din Djarin, first of his name, Mand'alor the Uniter, Iron Viper of Dorne, describes the experience of first laying eyes on Lucerys Sand, formerly Skywalker, he likens it to witnessing the sunrise for the very first time: It was as if he'd spent the first four decades of his existence wandering through nothing but misty gray twilight, only to suddenly, and completely without warning, be confronted with the dazzling rays of a colorful, rosy-fingered dawn.
After that, he claims it took all of half a second to fall head over heels in irrevocable, all-consuming love — something which Luke, who may be the most charmingly contrary man in all the Seven Kingdoms, never hesitates to call complete horseshit.
In his version of events, the only thought the Mand'alor entertained after catching sight of him pour a measure of sweet Dornish wine into Jabba the Hutt's cup was nothing more than a passing fancy to get his dick wet.
As it is with most great love stories, the truth of the matter probably lies somewhere in the middle.

“I know, I'm fine with it." Din says "-Just looking forward to you getting read the riot act by Kenobi, that's all.”

Because the Universe thinks it's funny, Luke and his colleague, Mando, are both going to the same wedding. And because the Universe has decided it's pursuing a career in comedy, they both have their own reasons for needing a date to it.
The most logical course of action, obviously, is that they pretend to be dating and attend together.
Luke has a great feeling about this. -

Luke eyes the keys hanging behind the counter. No other guests.
He rings the bell and the silence is broken.
Luke hears a door fly open, and loud footsteps echo through the hall, like a stampede of elephants.
“Who the hell are you?!”
“Luke Skywalker. Nice to meet you.”
“What the hell are you doing in here?!”
Luke snorts.
“Checking in.”
“Checking-?”
“Into your B&B?” Luke holds up a dusty pamphlet.
“-we’re closed.”
If anyone asks, Luke Skywalker would tell them that he’s on a mission to see every lighthouse on the east coast. It’s more or less the truth, afterall.
His latest target is a lighthouse that’s on the grounds of an old Bed & Breakfast; where it’s reclusive proprietor is not very pleased to have a guest. That is, until he realises that Luke is also a teacher and can tutor his son, who for some unknown reason, cannot go into town.
Luke agrees with the arrangement, intent on unraveling every mystery he can… while hiding some secrets of his own. -

It’s annoying that Mando is handsome, Luke thinks. Makes it harder to hate this interloper on sight.
“You’re not Owen.” Mando points out, raising a brow.
Luke gets the feeling he’s just been insulted straight to his face.
“No.” Luke says, "I'm not.”
Nevermind. Maybe hating Mando will be easier than he expects.Camie's getting married. Estranged from Owen & Beru, Luke goes home for the first time in 10 years. He's not looking forward to meeting their farmhand, the man who’s been living his old life ever since he left. Din isn’t particularly excited to meet Luke either; not when he already hates him for abandoning people who are like family to him now.
They both try to be civil. Fireworks ensue instead. -

It's leader finds himself on the perilous balancing act of neutrality, with a New Republic set on a strategy of appeasement.
However, as Senator Organa arrives on a diplomatic mission at the same time as the First Order, the Mandal'or finds the tight-rope is even thinner than usual.
Especially when Organa is not so secretly the Head of the Resistance- something that irks both the First Order and the New Republic.
None of that matters to the Mandal'or though, seeing as Organa brings along a bodyguard. A man who the Mand’alor has not seen for a very long time… -
