Summary

Subira had been a verified member of the Order for over 20 years. She was diligent in her working style, devoting all of herself to every mission and any challenge. Although she was a dedicated member, there was one thing that bothered her from time to time when she found herself in her apartment, alone. Subira wondered what having a girlfriend was like, how it would feel to be with one woman over and over, getting to know her mind, body, and heart like she's come to know her own in all her solitude. When her mind went there she would quickly talk herself down, recognizing such thoughts are not productive. Out of town one night stands where she left before they woke would have to be enough.
On a mission to Kilima she meets Lena, a sweet hearted horticulturist who is in town on an expedition to find the Elderwood orchid. Subira and Lena find themselves in the midst of a passionate one night stand. Eventually fate draws them back together in the Capital city leaving Subira at a stand still for how to navigate her feelings for the horticulturist.
Will she give back into Lena's body? Or will her duty to the order supersede her hearts desires? -
