There’s an unruly hippogriff who hates being cooped up as much as Sirius does, a hateful house-elf and a bunch of paintings that seem to love tormenting him. But worst of all, Remus Lupin is out there somewhere, and Sirius hasn’t had the guts to reach out yet. For nearly thirteen years, he believed that Remus must hate him. But after the reunion in the Shrieking Shack, for the first time in over a decade he finds himself hopeful. He dares to hope that maybe, just maybe, they still have a chance.
