Arthur woke up with a start, the remnants of a dream lingering in his mind. In the dream, Mary-Beth had been sitting in his lap, her eyes filled with warmth as they made love by the river. It felt so real that he could almost hear her moans. Shaking his head, he tried to clear his thoughts. Why am I dreaming about Mary-Beth like that? Get it together, Morgan. She’s just a friend.
Exiting his tent, Arthur tried to shake off the dream and focus on the day ahead. He rubbed his eyes and muttered a greeting as he approached the campfire. "Mornin', everyone."
John Marston looked up from his coffee and smirked. "Mornin', Arthur. You look like you’ve seen a ghost."
"Nah, just a strange night," Arthur replied, trying to sound nonchalant.
Karen Jones, always quick to tease, laughed. "Strange? Like dreamin' about someone special?"
Arthur felt a blush creeping up his neck. "What? No, nothin' like that."
