Summary
Bitty doesn't know why he even posts the video, but he can't help but be grateful for it when it sparks a friendship with a charmingly awkward internet stranger. Between arguing with his parents about his future, his fear of checking making a resurgence, and life as a college sophomore at Samwell, having someone he can talk to with no filter is an outlet he desperately needs. But as him and his new friend grow closer, Bitty starts to suspect that there may be more to his anonymity than simple shyness.

Post–graduation, one impulsive kiss turns slow and sweet: Bitty spends the summer helping Jack build a home in Providence—runs at dawn, meal prep, too many pies, and a future they don’t quite say out loud. Then Jack—still Bad Bob’s kid with a target on his back—thinks people might catch onto them, and pulls away. By winter, Bitty’s alone enough to vague-tweet… and Kent Parson slides into his DMs. Late-night calls turn into a Christmas in Vegas, a real boyfriend, and the kind of care that doesn’t ask him to be less. Bitty learns how to love loudly, Kent learns how to be brave on and off the ice, and Samwell (plus Julia, Swoops, and Kent's PR manager Kelly) close ranks. It's a tough season, and it's only getting harder, but sometimes, love isn't in the quiet moments, but in the hard ones.

"You’d think that as a rugby player, Eric Richard Bittle would be pretty used to getting tackled. At least, that would be the case until he clarified that he had played touch rugby down in Georgia. This is the reason Bitty found himself curled into a ball on an early September morning, peering up at the faces of concerned coaches and teammates and one extremely pissed off captain."
This is a rugby AU where Bitty joins the SMR team. Following most of the canon events in the original, the story follows Bitty as he becomes an integral member of the team and falls in love.
First fic in a while, the longest I've written, and will be released in chapters! I'd appreciate any feedback and will absolutely answer any questions about rugby lol

Coach’s jersey from his time as UGA’s star quarterback is framed over the den, hanging above their television for all to see when the Bittle uncles descend on their house for NFL Sunday.
By contrast, his mama’s uniform as a member of UGA’s cheer squad is sequestered away in a clear garment bag, hidden in her closet behind the winter coat she bought when they spent Eric’s winter break in Colorado three years ago—the farthest northwest he’s ever been. He hasn’t seen snow since.
The only reason Eric knows it’s there is that he saw her put it away.
Bitty’s behavior predates his sexuality. It predates his gender, too.

They now had better physiotherapy, better nutrition, and the Falcs' almost fanatical insistence that injured players recover and heal.
Ten kilometers later, he came back to the house, and grabbed his water bottle from the refrigerator, then took it back to the deck and dropped into his favorite rocking chair.
