When word from the Franklin Expedition is not heard by January of 1848, Sir John Barrow approves a single expedition, consisting of sixty-four men, on a single ship; HMS Edinburgh. The same class as HMS Terror; she is heavy, slow, and terrible for the Arctic.
Commanded by a well-meaning incompetent who has never held an active command, chosen purely because of convenience, the expedition meets some of the same horrors that met Franklin and seems destined to suffer the same fate as the expedition they were meant to rescue. Can the crew find Franklin and save themselves at the same time?
Mostly original characters. I will not be including Tuunbaq and most of the details of The Terror will be omitted for the more likely real version of what happened to the men. Regardless, It will be similar to The Terror in atmosphere (hopefully) and include the personality of the characters I do include, so I hope you enjoy.

Miluji filmy o Hornblowerovi a napadlo mě propojit děj s dalšími dvěma knihami - Horblower a Cizinka. Postavy z těchto knih se mohou v povídkách objevit, ale děj bude o něčem zcela jiném a hlavní postavy jsou také nové. Nelze je tedy zaměňovat s fanmade povídkami k těmto knihám.
Celá kolekce je inspirována právě knihami Cizinka, Hornblower a také Huckleberry Finnem. Všechny vřele doporučuji!

Summary
This is going to be a collection of short storries inspired by the period of sailors, navy and pirates of 18th century. I am not going to make new collection. More, the every single chapter of this work will be the one story. I will always publish it when it is finished.
These stories should be loosely connected but it is possible to read them independently. I love the movies about Hornblower as well as history and when I finished the first story I came to an idea to connect it with another two works that are from the same period of time - Hornblower and Outlander.
But careful, that does mean that the characters from these books and movies/dramas might sooner or later appear in the story but the story itself is about wholy new characters. In other words it is not a fanmade story of Outlander or Hornblower!
The stories are inspired by Outlander, Hornblower and the adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I recommand it all!
