Viktor swallows.
He could ask Jayce.
The thought is incredibly alarming. Jayce is no doubt asleep. He would think rather poorly of his roommate knocking on his door asking him to make macaroni and cheese. Not to mention Viktor's all encompassing desire for Jayce to be with him at all times. Viktor would rather keel over.
He takes a careful step and the world spins again. He realizes he has forgotten to grab his cane.
Okay. Maybe this constitutes an emergency.
