Summary
Nick and his friends have signed up for a three-day reunion hiking trek through the late-autumn hills of Vermont. What he didn't sign up for, though, was for their stunning trail guide to have the most luxurious legs he's ever laid eyes on. Prompted by the need to check for ticks, Nick has some realizations about what he's into, learns a surprising amount about geology, and has a much more fun time than he could have expected.

Summary
All five Works are set in the same alternate universe where Nick and Charlie meet in a coffee shop in their 30s, prompting a slow burn demi-bi awakening.
The first fic is complete, rated for Teens and the slow burn part in bite-size chapters.
The second fic is also complete, rated E and details their first weekend as boyfriends in a longer format.
The third and fourth are slices of their lives together from anywhere our imagination takes us; they may never be completed. One is rated for Teens and the other is rated E. Both are open for requests, subject to author interest.
Many parts of 3 and 4 were originally published in the fifth Work, which has been retired now that they exist.

OR
Each time I rewatch or reread this series I am irrationally bothered by the fact that NONE of the teachers seemed to notice or care about the bullying Charlie endured. For my own mental health, I created a little universe where at least some of them gave a damn and even had fun doing so!

Greetings, loved ones. Let’s take a journey….
In the aftermath of Nick’s drug-induced pronouncement, our boys are trying to figure out where they stand with each other. Brace yourself for angst (with a happy ending. Eventually. I finally wrote a slow burn, fam). Flashbacks will fill in the story of how Charlie and Nick met and how their friendship evolved in the year and a half or so before the accident.

Summary
At 28, Nick Nelson is living a life that should make him happy: he's got a good job, solid mates, and an on-again-off-again girlfriend he's known since secondary school. But for years, maybe as long as he can remember, he's felt like something was missing. Worse, he can't shake the nagging fear that he's the problem, that something might be wrong with him.
Charlie Spring is only 27, but he's already divorced, burnt out halfway through his masters degree, and his mental health is held together by twine and prayers. The only thing that gets him out of bed most days (other than his menagerie of pets) is his work as a wildlife rehabber at the Haven. Saving those animals is his focus in life now; he can't be bothered to worry about saving himself. And after what he endured at the hands of his ex-husband Ben, he's sworn off love for good.
...Then Nick finds an injured duckling.
