Summary
Eddie Diaz is many things, but he would never have called himself a victim. The closest he’d ever gotten was being shot in the middle of the street in Los Angeles, but even that had felt cold and indifferent. It didn’t feel like he qualified – victimhood feels personal, impactful, intimate. ‘Patient’ always felt more accurate, and even then he never really referred to himself as one; he merely allowed others to name him as such.
He realizes he is a victim on a Tuesday.

Summary
Eddie's dead wife is sitting on his bed.
Buck doesn't really scream. The noise he makes is more akin to a screech, or some kind of otherworldly sound no human being should even be able to do.
Shannon is haunting Buck.
None of them know how it happened, but now they have to do something about it.Bookmarked by Anlino_Lost

Summary
Everyone knows the classic fic where the father figure's kid shows up in his doorway in the middle of the night. That gets a little more complicated when the kids are, in fact, fully grown adults in the 118 and the doorway is more like a phone call, but that doesn't stop them.
(Bobby Nash and Athena Grant may have a few more kids than they originally signed up for. Whoops?)
