Summary
A man named Cas wakes up in 2003 with no memories, but he's able to piece together a few things:
Supernatural creatures exist, and most of them will hurt innocent civilians if he doesn't stop them; he has abilities that no human hunter should have, but he knows enough about human hunters to keep that to himself, and finally; he keeps running into another hunter named Dean Winchester, who must be as lonely as he is if he's willing to put up with those former facts long enough to help Cas unravel the mystery of who (or what) he really is.
For his part, Dean's still (not) dealing with Sam's departure to Stanford, and figures distracting himself with a bit of mystery and intrigue is as harmless as it gets, right? Right.

Summary
It's 1988. Grian and Mumbo are roommates living in the US. Mumbo leaves on a solo camping trip at Grian's suggestion to get away from his job for a while. But when he fails to check in at the end of his trip, Grian is forced to report him as a missing person. And now the clock is ticking.
It's 1989. Grian takes a job in Shoshone National Forest as a fire lookout, prepared to spend the summer alone in the wilderness. But his primary goal isn't finding forest fires: it's finding Mumbo, who went missing in this location a year ago, alive and well. He expects to be alone. What Grian doesn't expect is having the company of the other nearby lookout, a man named Scar. Their relationship grows through their conversations held via two-way radio, as Grian begins to let Scar into the truth about why he's really here and mystery he's unraveling.

Summary
Grian joins Hermitcraft with no memory of his past. Over the course of several seasons of Hermitcraft, he has to deal with people from his past who have certain expectations of him and with the past that won't easily let itself be forgotten.
Besides being mainly on Hermitcraft, there's Evolution SMP, Empires SMP, the Life Series, a little bit of Dream SMP, and some Watcher lore. Some Hermitcraft and Limited Life knowledge is preferably required to enjoy the series, I think you don't need to know much or anything about the other SMPs to understand what's going on at most times!
It's a story that got longer than I expected about friendship and exploring its conditions, it's about coming to terms with the past, it's about (struggling with) becoming the person who you want to be and dealing with expectations from others.
