Deep had thought maybe Homelander liked pretty and would enjoy something to accentuate it in bed. Tying his robe closed and muttering more curses to himself, Deep now felt incredibly foolish for the whole idea. For trying to surprise Homelander, for dressing up for him, for doing it on fucking Valentine’s Day. It was a day for more than sex. It was supposed to be about love and romance and all that bullshit. Feelings Deep had tried to put great effort into not developing towards Homelander. He knew the stronger man would never return them.

“I’ll bring something back for you,” Serizawa promised. Reigen wrinkled his nose and shook his head. “Just send me a picture of everything you eat, and I’ll be happy.”
Food pictures led into light chatting, and now, three weeks into Serizawa’s trip, they’ve spoken every single day, often keeping the conversation going from breakfast until well after dinner. Reigen’s spent many nights, laying in bed, phone screen illuminating his face, as he waits for Serizawa’s next message.

Mob looks up, wide-eyed. “You think Ritsu hates you?”
“Well,” Reigen says, starting to sweat a little. He thought it was obvious. He thought Mob was choosing to ignore it, to stay uninvolved, which was the wise thing to do. He had never before considered that Mob simply didn’t know.

Shigeo’s attention was tugged away from her math homework. Not that that was a challenging task, but this would’ve caught her attention even if it was the latest issue of her favorite manga. Hanazawa and she sat in the living room of Hanazawa’s apartment, like they’ve done dozens of times before. Shigeo's gaze met Hanazawa, who was wearing an odd expression. She never had been the best at reading expressions, but if she had to guess, she would call it “genuinely curious in an insincere way.” Hanazawa was resting her head on the table, arms cradling her face as she stared back. Mob wished she understood her friend better sometimes, but it wasn’t exactly odd for two girls to discuss boys.
It’s just that, well, they’ve never done it before.

60 seconds ago Reigen and Serizawa were standing at the water boiler, Reigen nodding in shallow agreement at something Serizawa was saying about mysticism and practical healing. 30 seconds after that, he was watching Serizawa fall limply to the ground after taking a laser beam to the face.The fact that he was crouched over him now, breathing rapidly, trying to conjure the CPR training he hadn’t paid attention to in high school while muttering manically, was not from a lack of familiarity with the abnormal. It was from the lack of a pulse and the colorless pockets that were Serizawa’s cheeks- it was from the fact that Reigen had seen plenty of very dead people before and Serizawa looked like one of them.

It doesn’t really matter, he reminds himself. He’s making a change, just like all of Reigen’s clients. What’s on his hands isn’t set in stone. He just has to make sure Reigen doesn’t see it— even if it might feel nice to have that steady attention, Reigen’s hands that are so much nicer than Serizawa’s folding around his.
(or: Reigen starts offering palm readings as a service, leading to Serizawa having to confront his feelings for his boss.)

Summary
The park map did little by way of navigation. It had bold, bright colors, with pictures of main attractions scattered around a vague shape of the park, but outside of that, there was little else useful on the pamphlet. No key, no listed food stands, and you could forget about readily locating a restroom. However, this was what Reigen, Dimple, Ritsu, and Mob were currently stuck using to plan their itinerary for the day.
