Summary
Two months after the end of the Great Cybertronian Civil War, Hook and his gestalt are struggling to integrate into the Ark now that there's no external pressure to let everyone forget their past allegiances. Between the struggle of trying to navigate a world he's wholly unfamiliar with and the mounting social pressure to "pick a side", Hook is more than happy to put his emotional baggage and trauma on the backburner as he tries to keep up appearances to both his gestalt and Ratchet. But when his facade starts to split at the seams, will he crack under the pressure or will he finally learn to trust and lean on the people around him for support?

Summary
Sometimes, the best way to end a millennia long war is with empathy, adoption, and just a smiiidge of violence. If you're the CMO of the Autobots, that is.
As for the 'Cons who decide to call the Ark 'home' in the aftermath of its ending, though, the world feels a lot more dangerous and chaotic than ever before. When the familiar is a distant past and the present is nothing but uncharted waters, how are you supposed to move forwards when it feels like everything you've been accustomed to is crumbling down around you? As they slowly learn: don't put the weight of the past on your shoulders alone, how you were raised does not define who you'll be, and camaraderie built with others is just as strong as that which you were created with.
