I lean back and fold my arms.

'Grace. No. Bad bad bad.'
Dr Ryland Grace is an old man. Dr Ryland Grace knows what he wants to happen when the time comes. Rocky doesn't want to talk about it.

Summary
‘The irony of finding it near impossible to warm himself up on a planet whose boiling temperatures would kill him the moment he stepped outside wasn’t lost on him. Heck, he had thrown out a joke about it to Rocky during one of his many visits to the ailing human soon after he was first moved into his biodome.
Of course, Rocky didn’t find it funny. Not that Grace could necessarily blame him.’
Or: Rocky visits Grace in his biodome as he continues to recover from his brush with severe malnutrition following their arrival to Erid.

Summary
He stops swimming to float on top of the water, feeling the artificial wind and sun on his face. He didn't realise how much he missed mundane things like just enjoying sunlight hitting his skin or wind blowing on his face. When he'd ride his bike to Grover Cleveland Middle after his stop at the diner he would always enjoy just feeling the wind hitting him, especially right before summer break where the air would be warmer and he could smell all the flowers that had finally finished growing. He wishes that Erid had plant life like Earth did, it would be interesting to see how they looked or how they smelled. Though, Eridians don't have a sense of smell so maybe the plants wouldn't develop a scent at all.
He's so lost in his thoughts that hearing a sudden screech scares him enough that he starts flailing around in the water, water getting into his mouth and up his nose. "Grace ♪♫, question. Danger danger danger!"
Or, Grace decides to finally take advantage of his beach but Rocky didn't know humans can swim, or float.

But Grace has no one. No family, plenty of acquaintances, but no friends. He remembers not having to tell anyone but his school that he was disappearing to a boat in the middle of the ocean, never took a slot on the phone he knew was in action somewhere on the ship. He never even looked for it.
It’s just that he’s always been a little weird and a little hard to love.
