“She is getting married”
“Who?” Aryna asks and picks the card up. She turns it around in her hands, tracing her fingers along the charp edges of the card.
“Paula of Velmaria of course.” Aryna’s eyes land on the card and the names written on it in dark, black ink. Paula of Velmaria and Stefanos, king of the Thalmyr. “Where had you get that?” She then asks and looks up at Andrey. His hair is long and some of it braided at the back of his head into a small braid. He is tall and of a stronge yet skinny figure. Their eyes lock, Andrey’s are icy blue, and Aryna raises an eyebrow. “One of my sources managed to get his hands on it.” Andrey explains and leans against Aryna’s desk.
Aryna lets her green eyes wander over the card again. A wedding, how very interesting. “He also says that Paula will leave the kingdom in three days time to go on a wedding journey to meet her future husband in his kingdom.”
Immediately, Aryna’s head snaps up and a grin forms on her face. Oh, now that was truly interesting. “A wedding journey, huh?” She says. “Would be too bad if something were to happen to her on that journey that would prevent her from reaching Stefanos.”Or: a fantasy world, following the way of three couples.

“I …” Jannik pinches the bridge of his nose. “Carlos and I had a fight.” He then admits.
“The trip is in like half a week, you will have made up until then” Andrey insists. Grigor and him never fought longer than a day or two maximum and Carlos and Jannik are so fluffy, it hurts. Thre is no way they will still be fighting in half a week.
“No” Jannik insists. His shoulders are hanging low, his eyes nervously glancing at Andrey. Andrey sighs … Jannik looks like a beaten up puppy and he most know it! He is doing that on purpose, because he knows Andrey cannot say no.
Andrey groans. “Fine” He then says… damn it, he wants his hottub weekend with Grigor!Or: Jannik and Carlos have a bight fight just before a media trip, somehow Andrey ends up right in the moddle of it.

Summary
Andrey's father did not consider Karen a good person to be around and certainly not a good friend for his children. Andrey was fine with that for a bunch of reasons. One of them being that he did not really like Karen. The other reason was, that he always found it a bit distracting to have Karen around while he was studying in the living room.
Or: Andrey is the classical nerd who is not very found of the local bad body, Karen. But they might end up getting a little bit closer than expected.

Andrey lays awake long after Karen has already gone to sleep, his mind focused on that one stupid problem: sex. Karen is snorring quietly next to him, spread out over half the bed, blanket pulled over himself. Andrey turns around to look at him for a while. He is handsome, he is perfect, and so sweet. Andrey is so lucky to have Karen in his life. Andrey loves Karen and he knows Karen loves him too or at least the version of Andrey that he knows. Andrey knows one day Karen will find out the truth, Andrey cannot hide forever, and then Karen will not love him anymore. Andrey knows the day will come and he fears it more than the day Karen is not willing to wait anymore; Andrey can maybe force himself to have sex but he cannot deny the truth. Andrey closes his eyes and swallows down his tears when his phone vibrates next to him.

Summary
Karen would consider himself a rather confident person. He usually likes who he is, he does not get shy or uncomfortable around other people. Usually. But even a confident person like Karen can get self doubts. Everyone gets them and it is easier if you are a public person, always uncer a watchful eye, always critised. Sometimes it feels like just because he is a successful player, everyone has the right to comment on everything Karen does and he is not allowed to be offended by it, or not like it or feel attacked.

“Hey, can you help me?” Jannik asks and slides into the place next to Andrey in the cafteria. “Oh, sure” Andrey says and smiles “How can I help you?” Andrey then asks.
“So, uhm … you know how Carlos and I got together shortly after the TennisTV secret santa last year?” Jannik asks and laughs nervously
“Yes, sure” Andrey says and grins. How could anyone forget that?
The carrot shaped vibrator as Jannik’s secret santa gift is still hilarious and a running gag on the tour.
“Well, now the secret santa thing is coming up again and I need a present. I have no idea what to get him. I was wondering if you have any ideas? What do you usually get Girgor?” Jannik asks and sighs loudly.

“We … we do not have to do anything.” Andrey whispers quietly and pulls his hand away. He likes Christmas and he used to enjoy celebrating and everything that comes with Christmas, but he does not want Karen to feel forced to celebrate. “I am happy to switch!” He says and looks over to Karen again who for some narcissistic, unknown reason is now training without a shirt on. Show off, Andrey thinks. What is wrong with these people?
“I don’t get why you are so against Karen. He is just being nice to you.” Carlos says.“He is a demon” Andrey points out. What other reason does he need?
“So? He has never personally done anything wrong or treated you badly!” Carlos insists.
Andrey snaps back around to look at Carlos. “He was part of the rebellion that was aimed at destroying us!” He snaps. What the hell is going on with Carlos?

Andrey frowns. Camping? Camping?! What the fuck?! Grigor was talking about having a nice vacation together!
“Yes, I love it, you know it.” Grigor says. Oh yes Andrey knows it. He has seen all the photos Grigor used to post on social media from his camping trips. In a tent. In the middle of the woods. Is Grigor mad now?!

“Oh and in case you want to bring any … boyfriends or girlfriends, just let me know before too and I will leave you the room to yourself.” Paula then says and wiggles her eyebrows.
Aryna raises her eyebrows at Paula. “Girlfriend?” She then asks. So maybe she was not wrong about Paula in the first place. Maybe Paula is exactly who Aryna suspected her to be.
Paula shrugs her shoulders and yawns. “Whatever floats your boad.” She then says, like it is no big deal at all.
“Well, certainly not that.” Aryna says sharply. She was raised as a good catholic! She is not like that.
Paula suddenly turns her head around to look at Aryna, her eyes now a lot colder than before. “Okay then” She growls and Aryna is pretty sure Paula’s offer to help her out whenever Aryna has a question is off the table. Fine. At least their sides are set now.Or: Aryna attends a tennis school in the US where she meets her roomate, Paula Badosa. They do not seem to get along at all, or do they?

Jaime has been thinking about plans to get to hang out with Jannik more and last night, he might have gotten the best idea of them all. The answer to getting to hang out more with Jannik is Carlos. Of course it is. Jaime feels so stupid for not realising it sooner. Carlos is obviously in love with Jannik and Jannik is so obviously in love with Carlos too! This realization leads Jaime to his new plan. The best way to get to Jannik is through Carlos. All Jaime needs to do is get his brother together with Jannik. And seriously, how hard can that be?
Or: Jaime wants nothing more than to befriend Jannik. He realizes that all he needs to do for that is set up his older brother with him.

“I do not know how much longer I can take this all.” Jannik just cries into the phone, he is unable to apologise for waking Mark up or to explain himself. He hardly ever cries, but right now it is just too much and everything runs free. He cannot take this anymore.
“What do you mean?” Mark asks and yawns.
“Carlos” Jannik breaths.
“What happened?” Mark asks and this time you can hear the care and worry in his voice instead of the sleep.
“I … I visited him for his birthday and it was great. It is just … I know we are just friends, but I cannot stand this anymore … Mark, it just … it hurts, you know?” Jannik whispers. How do you describe to someone else that you spend the last few years living with heartache and that now it is just getting too much?
“Jannik, you need to tell Carlos. This is eating you up.” Mark says softly.
“I cannot!” Jannik whispers. “It would be unfair and selfish. He is my best friend and he has a boyfriend."Or: Carlos and Jannik are footballers. When Carlos and Jannik first meet at practice in 2017 neither of them expected how things would develope between them... if only Carlos would not keep a horrible secret from everyone, including Jannik.
