At five and ten, Rhaenyra plays the game of thrones.
Dance of the Dragons Fix-it | The Dance never happens
—
Chapter 11 preview, Rhaenyra VI:
The revelry was tiring instead of rewarding, for there was something she had been anxious to attend to. At the foot of the raised table where the rest of the family sat, stood Ser Criston; watchful and loyal, his presence never strayed far from his Queen. This dedication was nothing more but a bitter reminder that come morning, she must make a decision and remove him from service.
It would be the first time she’ll ever be directly responsible for someone else’s fate. Treason warranted death as punishment, yet she could not give it in clear conscience — Ser Criston had indeed followed her orders under her own less than noble interest. He had been loyal, to a point.
Yet, she knew what she must do. No complication would stand in her way; not now, not ever, even if she had to hide the blood under her fingernails.
On the morrow, Ser Criston would be gone.

Summary
During King Robet's trip to Winterfell, he is very impressed by the prowess shown by his best friend's bastard son, Jon Snow. So much so that he demands Jon come with his father South to train, in the hopes of becoming a Kingsguard.
Of course with the truth being what it is, Ned isn't exactly on-board with this idea.
But Jon is smart. Far smarter than people think. He knows that training in King's Landing and swearing himself to the Kingsguard is a far better option than sacrificing his youth and the rest of his life to some glorified penal colony in the North.
So he goes South. Tyrion, ever the pot-stirrer, goes with. A great friendship blooms and with it, the destiny of the Seven Kingdoms are forever changed. Secrets revealed, loyalties tested and lifelong friendships dissolve.
But this is the Game of Thrones. You win or you die. There is no middle ground.

Summary
Maegor the Cruel more than lived up to his sobriquet so it's said. But what of those who served him, even to the point of madness. What of those unwilling to support Prince Jaehaerys, knowing that their own crimes would be beyond his forgiveness? What of the efforts Maegor made to consolidate his rule even as all things turned against him.
For that, we must look not to the bustling sink of King's Landing but to the radiant Sapphire Isle, home to the noble House of Tarth, where an act of base treachery was born and a plot to keep Maegor's dream alive was hatched in the forgotten ruins of Morne.Written in the style of Fire and Blood and The World of Ice and Fire by George R.R Martin.
Though nothing is explicit, this work includes reference to dark themes and situations and viewer discretion is advised.Bookmarked by LittleLadySource

***ON HIATUS***
Alicent Hightower died in 133 AC and woke up from a bad dream. Only that it was not a bad dream, but rather her past life.
Determined, Alicent wishes to avoid the Dance of Dragons and the heartbreak her father, Otto Hightower, inflicted upon her life and that of her children. But the timelines have changed. Viserys is not named heir. Aemma is sicker than before. The Old King and the Good Queen are alive.
How can Alicent stop the Dance of Dragons now? Will war come or peace will follow?
So... what if Alicent was half Targaryen? What if Ceryse Hightower would have had a daughter with Maegor, but kept the child a secret? What would happen if Daemon would marry a lady with Valyrian blood? How would Westeros change if Daemon was named heir at the Great Council?
Surprisingly, the Alicent Hightower she was born into, is no mere Hightower, but the great-great-granddaughter of Ceryse Hightower, with the blood of Maegor the Curel running through her veins.
All credit goes to George R.R. Martin. This story is different from the original, although most characters are the ones from canon.

Summary
Alicent Hightower has spent her entire life playing by the rules—polished, composed, untouchable. As CEO of Hightower Publishing, she thrives in a world of power plays and precision, where emotions are liabilities and every move is calculated. But Rhaenyra Targaryen? She’s chaos wrapped in a tailored blazer. The nepotism hire Alicent never wanted. The paralegal who waltzes into her office with too much confidence and too little respect for authority.
What starts as an office rivalry quickly becomes something else, something sharp-edged and impossible to ignore. Every glance is a challenge, every conversation a battle, and every lingering touch a war waged in silence. But with Alicent’s father pressuring her into a strategic marriage and Rhaenyra’s own reckless heart leading her straight into dangerous territory, the line between professional and personal grows thinner by the second.

Summary
There was something off about Draco Malfoy, and Hermione was acutely aware of it.
His canines were a little too sharp. She could see their pinprick points when he laughed.
His reflexes were a little too fast. When something was about to hit the floor, he was right there to catch it in a blink.
His sense of smell, a little too precise. He asked Hermione at Pansy and Neville’s last house party when she switched shampoos.
No, certainly something wasn’t right.

Summary
The year 127 AC, two years before the death of King Viserys I. Lysara Stark is sent to King’s Landing, her hand in marriage having been promised to the king’s second son, Prince Aemond, by her brother, the newly minted Lord of Winterfell, Cregan Stark. The ever honorable Lord Stark believes he has made an auspicious match for his sister, betrothing her to the younger brother of the future queen, Rhaenyra Targaryen. The Hightowers however, have other, less savory hopes for the match.
Prince Aemond is prepared to do his duty and marry the Stark girl, to bring honor to his house, and strengthen his family’s position for the coming wars. What he isn’t prepared for is a wild eyed Northerner with a direwolf for a pet and her own darkling schemes to match any cooked up in the Red Keep. Will her icy heart bring about his downfall, or will the two of them burn together?

Summary
Rhaenyra Bastard and Usurper AU
The coronation of Viserys sparked controversy across the Realm. At the urging of his Dornish Queen, the young King declared his firstborn daughter, Princess Alaeyne Targaryen, "The Sunrise Princess," his named heir.
There was outrage, of course. But the Realm built by the Old King Jaehaerys was strong and resilient. One by one, the Lords of the Realm came to King's Landing to bend the knee and swear obeisance to King Viserys and the Princess of Dragonstone.
It seemed that a woman would rule the Seven Kingdoms for the first time in its history.
However, quiet words - not spoken, but whispered - began to spread throughout the realm. They held no real importance by the time of Viserys' coronation or for many years thereafter. But, by the end of Viserys' life, they set the Realm asunder in a Dance of Dragons.
If a woman is to rule the Realm, then let it be the daughter of Aemma Arryn, the "Bastard of the Vale," more Targaryen than the "Sunrise Princess" in everything but name.
