She’ll claim you if you act the part. If you stay unclaimed then they'll figure out what you really are," she said, squeezing his hands tightly. Percy's heart sped up.
"I - I don't know the first thing about Aphrodite-"
"My mother was born of sea foam," Silena cut him off. "And if you're really who I think you are... you are the sea. You can pull this off," she said and touched his cheek. "Get the bolt. Survive," she said. Percy swallowed.
"What if I can't act the part?" He asked. Silena's expression went blank for a moment. Slowly, she slipped off her bracelet and placed it in his hands.

He realizes something else, fate rights itself, he hadn’t fallen into the pit in the first quest but he is here now.

My mom, Annabeth Chase, had always said that Camp Half-Blood was her home, but my dad, Percy Jackson, well, he said that after the Titan War, he had a "lifetime membership" at both.
I was trying (and failing) to look inconspicuous while polishing my practice gladius near the fountain when Centurion Marcus Claudius of the Fifth Cohort spotted me. Marcus was a huge guy, built like a brick oven, and he never smiled."Jackson!" His voice boomed, sharp enough to cut through the din of training drills.

Summary
Peter would rather die than go to the AcaDec field trip to Stark Industries, but alas, it is where he finds himself on that fateful Friday morning. Nothing goes to plan but disturbances also manage to be resolved before they can go cataclysmically wrong. Peter is completely unaware of what was occurring behind the scenes to ensure nothing went worse.

Cupping his face and moving it around in a circular motion - he knows it's just to make him laugh instead of checking to find any imperfections like she's pretending it is - she smirks at him before nodding encouragingly and asking, "Rule number 2?"
"Strategy. Pick out your goal, and figure out exactly who and what you need to get there. Do so sparingly and efficiently."
Giving him a kiss on the nose and a warm smile, he allows his eyes to sparkle in a way that he knows only she could ever tell as he keeps the rest of his face emotionless and blank.
"And Rule number 3?"
Finally breaking the facade, he gives her a lopsided smirk as he leans into her hand sweetly, "Manipulation. Do whatever it takes, and be whoever you need to be to get the job done. After all," he pauses to share a smile and so they can say it together,
"Anyone outside me and mine are just obstacles to destroy and pawns to control."

Dick Grayson becomes an older brother, quite suddenly, just over three months after his fifteenth birthday.
The sleeping toddler in his father’s arms looks generally unaware of his whereabouts and the changes in surroundings as he curls in on himself, looking cold in the thin, muted green onesie that’s a bit too big for him. Bruce, still in his Batman suit bar the cowl, looks more shocked (and grief stricken, if Dick’s properly learnt his father’s minuscule expressions and what they mean) rather than looking fond or happy. He’s sitting in the pivot chair he usually uses when he’s on the batcomputer, but he’s facing away from the monitors and looking at Dick now, sitting on a spare chair in front of him.
“A… brother,” Dick repeats, carefully. “A baby brother.”

Talia gives Damian to Bruce when he's one and a half years old. This one decision leads to a series of fortunate events that speeds up the so-called 'accidental' acquisition of the rest of Dick Grayson's siblings. Mostly, though, it just makes Damian and Dick (as well as the others) closer.
Well.
At least Dick has his bigger family sooner.

What with Bruce being… well…
He’s aware.
But, as he stares at his little brother telling him that Bruce is alive, he can’t help but feel anything but relief. In fact, he feels a lot of bad feelings about it, and then very quickly adds guilt to those bad feelings since he can’t think of anything positive to say.
Because he’s aware that he’s not well. And that Tim isn’t well. And that Alfred isn’t well.
But they weren’t well before Bruce died, either.

Wonderfully funny!
Summary for new chapter context: Percy is (probably permanently, barring Chaos intervention) dimensionally displaced (and de-aged to 10, but with scars), and adopted by Jason.
Timeskip 2 years per chapter atm. Most relevant people broadly assume that Percy is a) an assassin and b) is/connect to the water spirit cleaning up Gotham that showed up when he did.
Everyone has their theories about what is really going on. Percy is avoiding politics and hiding his demigod nature, though Diana now knows about that specifically. Duke is alarmed, Cass see so much, Aquaman is awed, and Flash knows the dimension thing.
Poseidon is dead in this dimension.
Percy keeps refusing ascension. He faceplanted into champion of the blue politics and accidentally started an open cape identity as soon as he became an adult :)
