Summary
Instead of threatening her infant son with the boogeyman, Janet Drake tells Tim that Batman is going to come for him if he doesn't behave. Years later, Tim realises that if he wants a fast way to get adopted, all he has to do is commit a crime so that Batman will take him away.
Years later still, Tim knows that no one is coming for him, but that doesn't make him any less scared. It also doesn't make him any less interested in Batman and his Robins.

When he wakes up and claws his way out of the water, the sun has set, and the lights of his house are on. He is cold and wet and his lungs burn.
But most of all, Tim is alone.

Tim has been sent to Arkham after his stunt of going underground and working in the league to try and find evidence of Bruce not being dead, Dick convinced that his Brother has lost it beyond repair. With no one to turn to he resigned himself to rotting away in the prison acting as an asylum, being subjected to whatever those doctors view as treatment - now if only a certain clown would let him do that.

Summary
Losing Damian not only hurt beyond measure but also made Dick the last Bat standing. He had nothing keeping him in a broken world so goes back in time with only one ally (Damian begs to differ) and no plan except to protect everyone he can, at any cost.
Dick starts with making sure Jason never dies at the hands of the Joker and proceeds to track down and love his siblings (while maybe also plotting the destruction of the League of Assassins). He just doesn't realize that a clan of highly trained vigilantes are more than capable of realizing that Dick is not okay, and of returning his devotion with their own.

It was a daily battle to keep… him at bay. Keep control over his body, over his mind. Not succumb to these impulses that had been burned into his psyche via torture; both physical and psychological (Harley had been a psychologist, after all, so she knew how to break someone’s mind as well as she knew how to put it back together).
Not only did he have to hide him, but he had to hide the fact he was hiding anything at all.
Yet, this is just what Tim was best at. Hiding. Lying. Keeping up a facade. An image. So good, in fact, no one ever knew what he dealt with.

While Tim knew he should be upset, the longing glances Tim noticed Damian making at his breasts made him pause. He had seen Damian look at his chest before, but he had never seen the pup seem so drawn to them. He glanced down and realized why. He was wearing the lace nightgown, the one that pushed up his tits and covered enough to not flash anyone but that was it. Moreover, his chest was swollen with milk from feeding a pup he had rescued the night before who had been sobbing with hunger.
Careful with how he spoke his words, Tim rested a hand on the back of the pup’s neck. “Pup, are you hungry?”
Damian’s eyes went wide, before the pup guilty nodded, green eyes flickering to Tim’s chest then back again. Tim let out a soothing purr, then nodded. “Good. Let me feed you.”
