Talking is a necessity to keep from being observed. If you don't communicate like them, then you an oddity that fires the fight or flight instinct in their brains. Oddities are the first to become suspects in crime cases, thus one must speak as to not raise alarms. But it is also tiring to do so. A waste of energy that is needed to hunt food.
And there is nothing more exciting than the hunt.
