Summary
Luca Haas is just one of many MHL prospects trying to make his way into the show. He can feel the eyes of his captain and childhood idol - the Ilya Rozanoz - on his back the entire way forward and tries not to listen to the voice asking if he measures up. He just wants to play hockey.
There's just this one voice, outside of his head this time, that's making it difficult. Another prospect, a potential future teammate, one that's rambunctious, loud and painfully pretty when he smiles. Aiden Young. He’s the sort of person that pulls Luca's brain away from the ice and its expectations and drags him into having fun.
He's a distraction and by God does Luca want.

Summary
Shane Hollander was supposed to go pro.
Instead, he got an injury that ended his career before it even started and a life that’s been quietly built around not thinking too hard about it.
Ilya Rozanov did go pro.
Which makes it particularly unfortunate that they’ve just woken up in each other’s bodies hours before a game.
Even worse, Shane is now expected to play in front of thousands of people using a body he's only ever seen on phone screens or TVs, all while trying to stave off an impending mental breakdown and come to terms with a version of Ilya Rozanov that's much different than his public persona.

- Irinia lives!!! (Ilyas focus on her survival wreaks of desperation and you really see that even after years of having lost her hes still the scared 12yr old kid who found her after)
- shane :(( him being described as super skinny hurts me sm (he probably fell back into his ed from before esp given the guilt and trauma of how they got sent back to this point he'd desperately need the feeling of control that it gives him)
