Summary
Johnny thought he had moved on from the past. Thought he had buried away what happened in the damned house, thought he had strangled the feelings he had once to death. He thought he had pushed away all the rage that was hot yet could never reach the boiling point.
Until it came back, wriggling its way like a damn parasite in his life again and again but never the answers and acceptance. Never the apologies.
or; Johnny was sexually abused as a child and it left an open wound in him yet never open to anyone; except Simon.

Summary
“Gho- slow down. What?” Price stopped him.
“MacTavish was spiked. Bar Alejandro recommended. We need pick up, now.” Ghost repeated, speaking slower, attempting to compose himself.
”Spik- bloody Jesus…” Price sighed. He could almost hear the man rub his beard through the phone. “I’ll send Garrick. He alright?”
“I-“ He stammered. “…I think the bastard put hands on ‘im.”
Price didn’t speak for a moment. He couldn’t tell what Price was thinking, but silence from him never meant anything good. ”Alright, we’ll be there in 5.” He finally said, keeping his tone controlled, yet it was noticeably lower.
The line then went dead.
Ghost let out a shaky exhale, pocketing his phone. He rested his hand on Soap’s shoulder, squeezing it gently. “Fuck, Johnny…” he mumbled.

Summary
Every morning, Ghost would make sure to kiss Soap’s scar that ran from his eyebrow to the back of his skull, the raised skin leaving an obvious mark that could never be hidden. Not that Soap ever wanted to hide it, because that stubborn bastard would never change his hairstyle for anything.
-
Soap survived being shot in the head. But he lost part of himself. And Ghost would have to pick up the pieces, and gently glue them back into place.

Summary
“The dobber backed oot as soon as he got me trousers off and saw a cunt,” Soap said, jaw once again back to being tense, face slowly growing red with what Ghost had to assume was embarrassment. “Had some colourful words for me.”
“He doesn’t know what he’s missing, then,” Ghost said, maybe a bit too quickly. “Bloody hell, Johnny. Get rid of that face. Ain’t nothing you did wrong.”
—
Johnny thought being trans meant being rejected, being unloved. Simon was willing to prove him wrong.

Summary
Post blessed are the Peacemakers. Arthur asks Charles to stay with him, and neither is in any shape to stay vigilant anymore. Luckily, Hosea is not someone they need to worry about. They have enough blades hanging over their heads, but for one night they can have this.
Originally chapter 2 of my Tales of Nurse Maid fic, thinking I might add more one-shot chapters to it, but I realized I just wanted to post them as separate.

Summary
Hosea smiles wryly. “You’ve got a good head on your shoulders, Mister Smith,” he says. “You know, I wish you would have joined us sooner. Could have used a reliable man like you years ago.”
Charles snorts, a rare, crooked smile crossing his face. “Nah. Don’t think you all would have liked me much back then. I sure didn’t.”
Hosea chuckles. “Well, I like you well enough now. Arthur too.”
Charles says nothing to that, but the corner of his mouth twitches upward again. “I’ll find him,” he promises.
“I know, dear boy. I know.”
A Blessed are the Peacemakers fix-it where Charles is sent to retrieve a missing Arthur Morgan and sees a bit too much of the man in the process. Hosea is furious, Dutch's world is crumbling, and Arthur is stuck in the middle. Luckily, Charles is there too.

Summary
House dosed Wilson with speed- to prove a point. I always thought that this stunt of his was rather inelegant. I couldn't imagine what Wilson felt when his heart rate had gone through the roof. And the fact that the show kind of just shrugged it off made me think of how this could affect the human mind and cause severe trauma and trust issues in Wilson. So this is my idea of what could've happened after this incident.

Summary
“ Anti-predator behaviors fall into two categories: avoidance behaviors and defensive behaviors. Avoidance behaviors include hiding, alerting others, becoming silent, and being vigilant in addition to other behaviors. Defensive behaviors include behaviors such as fight, flight, or freeze, in addition to behaviors such as startle displays (behaviors that communicate to the predator that the prey animal has detected them and won’t be caught unawares)… There are other ways animals avoid detection by predators that aren’t always behavioral, such as mimicry of inedible items or poisonous/venomous animals.” — The Open Sanctuary Project.
Or, House survived CSA, but finds Survivor isn’t an adequate descriptor. Prey is.
