“Come on,” Mike argues. “Think of it like… a test drive. You’ll get the full Mike Wheeler boyfriend experience. It’s miserable! You’ll be over me in no time!”
They only have one last summer before they go off to college, and Will is sick of keeping his cards so close to his chest. So, in a fit of alcohol-induced bravery, he tells Mike everything.
Instead of breaking his heart, Mike proposes a deal: they’ll date for the summer. Get Mike out of Will’s system, show him he makes for a lousy boyfriend anyway, and make sure there aren’t any what-ifs waiting for him in New York.
No stone left unturned, after all.

"You wear panties?" Mike shamelessly blurted out, eyes wide.
Will's eyes went wide suddenly and he didn't look as sleepy as he did before, he focused his vision more to see Mike hovering over him, pupils blown black, lips wet, one hand already palming the massive bulge in his pants like he was seconds from ripping them open.
“You, what, I what?— Mike?” Will’s voice cracked, high and embarrassed. He tried to sit up but Mike’s hand shot out, pressing his shoulder back down.
“Stay,” Mike rasped. “Just let me take a look, fuck, look at you.”

Mike arrived at Will’s apartment to bring him food, but the moment he saw the Omega asleep in nothing but his panties, he completely lost it.
