Damian freezes, watches as the glowing, white eyes land on him and fill his vision. His nostrils are suddenly filled with the rotting, putrid odor of the Lazarus Pit, and he is reminded of just how close Ahki came to killing him before.
But he didn’t, despite the rage. Jason wouldn’t kill him, wouldn’t attack him, wouldn’t even look at him like that——
Suddenly, the wind is knocked out of his lungs.

He smells death seeping through the walls of what must be his coffin. It’s in his flesh, writhing and entangling through his bones. He tastes it in the mold that must have grown from his drying tongue and the calculus surrounding his teeth. He hears it groaning, yelling, screaming, Wake up! Wake Up!
And then he sees it. Death itself, in the palm of his hand. Not a grinning, rictus smile or a reaper, but a triangle with five rectangles extending from it. Like a hand. William Hand, a voice whispers. It’s almost comforting.
Jason takes the ring and shoves it on his limp ring finger. The ring glows and the light fills the coffin through his mouth, his eyes, his ears, piercing the bones of his finger. He sighs, and black smoke froths from his mouth, and he feels——
Nothing.
OR
Jason Todd is resurrected by a Black Lantern ring. Kyle Rayner is a Green Lantern and Donna Troy is a badass who has to third-wheel.

Raspberry red, he stares, like blood. Everything is a trigger, because everything is filtered through his own head, the crazy is coming from inside the house.
"Okay." Jason shrugs easily. Too easily. "Just tell me if you need me to do or not do anythin'. 'Cause, like, you look like you could use a hug. Or a warm bath or somethin'."
As if Tim isn't holding himself back from destroying everything, destroying Jason. Wrapping his hands around Robin's throat and crushing it like the cookies on the table.

And then Damian is knocking a mobster back and hurling himself across the roof toward Tim, a hand outstretched and mouth wide, Tim's name on his lips. At least, Tim is pretty sure it's his own name. He can't exactly hear anything anymore.
His eyes droop.
He sways.
And then, tips over the edge.
