Its a normal day in this hell of a city. Though when dealing with magic? Things tend to change faster than the tides of the ocean.

Tim gets hit in the fight with a mage looking to leach magic from Gotham's catacombs and finds himself swapped with another version of himself, nothing in his life is a coincidence and within the chaos of trying to find a way home, dark secrets get pulled to light and shatter illusions that had been carefully constructed. It's a well-known fact among cities like Metropolis, Central, and Star, if Gotham claims you there's no escaping it.
Those who have lived in the cursed city don't often leave, most choosing to spend their entire lives there. The few that do try always find themselves returning, telling friends and loved ones that they MISSED the crime filled nightmare metropolis. Sometimes they're saved, sent by concerned friends and family to therapy or clinical institutions to try and save them from the strange darkness that lures them back.
But either way, they're never the same.
And those are only the regular, everyday citizens.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you. You’re the best brother ever.” Duke said happily and the looks on everyone else’s faces were priceless. Jason looked angry, pissed as he would call it, for losing a title he never had. Tim’s mouth was open in shock, and he held onto his chest like it physically hurt him to hear Duke’s words. Damian was the angeriest out of all of them. The grip on his knife, mind you he wasn’t holding it earlier, was tight and he was glaring at Dick’s stupid smirk he had on his face.
Or On his way home from school, Duke stumbles across a flyer for a local scare house and decides it’s the perfect way to kick off spooky season. With a mix of charm and mild manipulation, he ropes the entire Batfamily into joining him. But what starts as harmless fun quickly twists into something far more sinister. As danger creeps closer, Duke remains completely oblivious, much to Bruce’s growing worry. Hopefully, everyone makes it out in one piece… emphasis on hopefully.
