“I have to.” Izuku gave Katsuki a sad smile. "We're heroes, Kacchan."
Using every ounce of his strength, Katsuki grabbed onto Izuku's shoulders and ran him into the wall as hard as he could. A soft gasp in surprise as Izuku quickly activated One for All and twisted out of the blonde’s hold.
“F**k, Deku not now!” Katsuki growled at the smaller teen. “You can’t, you idiot!”
"I have to, Kacchan!"
"If you can't see your own worth right now, I will f**king beat it into you."
Those bright green eyes, shining defiantly, despite the chaos erupting around them. "You can try."
Things were never easy for the two of them. At least, the two have finally come to an uneasy, somehow stable rivalry. Unfortunately, it may not be enough for what was to come. It was only going to get more difficult, more arduous from here on out.And quite simply, they were just out of time.

Summary
Have you ever noticed something and then never stopped noticing it? Like the wool was removed from your eyes, and you cannot stop seeing it.
Katsuki felt like his world was shattering. After an interview leaves him questioning, "What is a hero?" he starts to notice things about Izuku's life. Like, it wasn't just him trying to toughen the nerd up. He sometimes came to class with more bruises than when he left, and how Izuku never really ate.
After learning how some people are treated in a quirk-based society and how little anyone is willing to help. Katsuki makes it his mission to save his first and only friend.

Midoriya Izuku has always been written off as weird. As if it's not bad enough to be the quirkless weakling, he has to be the weird quirkless weakling on top of it.
But truthfully, the "weird" part is the only part that's accurate. He's determined not to be a weakling, and in spite of what it says on paper, he's not actually quirkless. Even before meeting All-Might and taking on the power of One For All, Izuku isn't quirkless.
Not that anyone would believe it if he told them.
