Summary
Betrayal was a feeling Tony was used to, had felt it when his parents died and left him alone. Had felt it when his second father figure tried to kill him, as he literally ripped his heart out.
But nothing had felt this painful, nothing had prepared him for Steve. Steve had known for gods knows how long who had killed his parents. But instead of telling him, he had left him with a shield in his arc reactor in Siberia.
Now here he was, slowly dying as his vision blurred.
That was until he found himself back in the past.
(I'm really bad with summaries. It's about Tony going back in time and becoming best friends with Bucky until it turns into more.)

The miniature Lydia had long black hair made of yarn that hung to the small of the doll's back— just like hers did. The fabric that made up its skin was just several shades shy of true porcelain— just like hers was. It wore a long-sleeved black sundress that mimicked the ones she often wore, fishnet stockings like the kind she sometimes paired with her shorter dresses, and a set of combat boots that were identical to her favorite pair. It even wore her ring.

“You’re wearing my hoodie,” he hears himself say, in a soft trembling voice, before his mind catches up with his mouth.
“Uh, I mean-”
Ambrosius blinks, then ducks his head, face flushing.
“It..still smells like you,” he murmurs guiltily, like the admission is a confession, and the act is a crime.
Perhaps it is, given the manhunt—such a choice betrays his heart, and his heart should be allegiant to the Institute, should be hardened and dressed in shining armour, not the soft lingering possessions of a criminal.
It had not deterred him anyway.
Ballister emits a strangled choke, his heart pounding, face warm. He should have known he would love him, still.

Summary
After the fiasco in Siberia, Tony let them all go. She kept track of them, but she let them run free and do whatever they wanted. She took the time to put herself back together, to do damage control, and to think. So much got said and undone, and more than anything she needed to think about how she wanted to go forward concerning Barnes and everything he'd done.
That's all interrupted by a cargo hold full of Asgardians with Thor and Loki at the helm seeking refuge on Earth. Naturally, the only person around to help them is Tony, and that's exactly what she does. It's to her surprise and his credit when Loki approaches her, subdued with gratitude, and offers her one extravagant magical favour in return for the months worth of fighting she's done to establish a home for the Asgardians.
With Loki's gift in the forefront of her thoughts, she turns back to the issue of Barnes, and she thinks she might have a solution.
