I want a life where I can help people, where I can do anything without being put down, where my father loves me and my mother doesn't have to work all the time. I want a life where everyone is happy."
The Grim Reaper seems to smile. "I can't give you that, but I can do something else." Izuku tilts his head. "I can give you a life that let's you comfort people into the afterlife. A life where no one will judge you, because they are all already dead. A life where you have a scythe and a smile, where you can help them move on. Where you can fly and float and explore."
The Grim Reaper holds out a bone hand.
And Izuku takes it, letting out a deep breath. "Thank you."
