“Please…” His soulmate’s voice is quiet and hungry, starved for a tenderness that, if Hanzo had his way, they would only know in excess. They pull at the boy’s wrists and stare at him with eyes shining with unshed tears, glistening like every star in the sky.
“Please what? Tell me what you want; I will get it for you.”
Please, let it be possible, Hanzo begs every god and the dragon spirits themselves silently, desperation threatening to drown him as it creeps up his throat. Please do not make a liar out of me.
“Love me.” Their voice is no longer a weak whisper, its volume lost in the distance that stretches between them. They speak in Hanzo’s ears, as if the two of them are in the same room, his soulmate just out of sight, and for the first time since their bond formed, the ache of loneliness in the boy’s chest lessens just enough to allow him to breathe.
“I do.”

However, he was rather curious about the few who seemed to possess… lesser capabilities, to put it lightly. It was not that they were not able to perform stunts (far from that, actually), but more so that there were a few normal people within the organization.
One specifically piqued his interest: Cole Cassidy.
(aka the first time Hanzo sees Cassidy use deadeye, it’s in less than preferable conditions, which leads to preferable conditions)
