He holds his breath completely as the claws close around his wrist, no doubt sensing his erratic pulse.

Seonghwa’s gorgeous lips thin. “Sure. If you want them to die in two weeks.”
Hongjoong blinks. “Oh,” he says weakly, rubbing at the back of his neck, warm from the sun and sudden embarrassment. “I’m assuming you know a lot more than me…”

A re-run of Featherman is playing on his thrifted TV. Mid ad-break, he turns on his phone and sees a very familiar app, sitting there on the home page innocently as though last time it had appeared out of nowhere it hadn’t ruined Goro’s life. He had been sipping on disgusting instant coffee, which he spills all over his pants from the shock.
Not because he’s clumsy, obviously.
