Qifrey's face flushed a deep shade at what he was insinuating. It was one thing to touch each other and do all sorts of lascivious things together - but it was entirely another to be put in the spotlight, Olly's deep blue eyes studying him as he unraveled while pleasing himself. Qifrey bit down on his arm to muffle the sound of his own moans.
If he had use of both hands right now he probably would have clasped them over his mouth, a much less painful option than the one he had gone with, if it wasn’t currently occupied with thrusting his own personal Olruggio-shaped object in and out himself.
Olruggio of the Torch. What an apt alias.
Qifrey had received the witch’s latest contraption just a few weeks ago, before Olruggio’s next commissioned trip.
A solution to one of the couple’s biggest problems, born of a late night sipping Silvernectar wine and lamenting their separation.
Qifrey had woken up in the morning with a headache and a surprise on his bedside table. Olruggio had used some of the most basic tools at his disposal to craft the magic. Anyone who was brave enough to look at it long enough might be able to decode the spells and sigils that went into it.
Of course, no one would. People tend to get shy around sex toys, and Qifrey could only imagine how someone would react to seeing an enchanted wooden dildo sitting in his room.

Olruggio was amused now, brows raised. "Pleasant?"
He was handsome and beautiful and a tease. Qifrey wanted to kiss him. And that was a silly thought which earned him a head dunk full of freezing cold water.
"Shut up!"
"Ye can just tell me ye like my muscles, Qifrey. It ain't gonna kill ye."
Qifrey and Olruggio have been playing house for a while now. Since the removal of his curse, they decide to keep raising the girls together. Olruggio also decides to start getting in shape.
Qifrey isn't sure how to deal with that. He deals with it very poorly.

The Silverwood had proven to be quite difficult to separate himself from, and without it, Qifrey feels incomplete in some ways. With its branches now safely resting outside upon a span of land visible from the atelier’s windows, Qifrey finds that incomplete feeling can be filled with other things: being a dutiful teacher, a helpful witch, and a loving partner.
But it is that last thing that he finds difficult. Not because he does not love Olruggio, no — he loves him far more than words can attest — but rather that the feeling of love and safety he’s given still causes lingering discomfort due to the fear the tree had placed in him. But day by day, he becomes more accustomed to it.

The first time they had spoken when Qifrey had introduced himself to his new colleagues, he had become so flustered that he'd nearly forgotten his own name. Olruggio had been late that day, the last to arrive at the teacher's lounge for the staff meeting, tired and disheveled and far too handsome for Qifrey's nerves.
Qifrey joins his coworkers for a friendly night out at the bar, and one thing leads to another.

(Spoilers for Chapter 93)
Perhaps, if Qifrey had not been cursed by the silverwood, he would have done things differently. He would have looked at Olruggio with two eyes wide open. He would have realized he was in love with him when was fifteen, or maybe even a little before then, and Olruggio would have told him he knew the moment he saw him. Maybe they would have had years of cuddling and holding hands and sharing a bed and nothing else. Maybe they would have simply enjoyed being in each other's presence until the desire for more eventually simmered, and they would have explored it with stumbling, eager hands and a fire that kindled brighter over time.
The issue was that even though the silverwood was gone, Qifrey's body did not realize it. He still felt the ancient tree inside of him, with its silver-scaled bark and its moon-like leaves fanning in his lungs. Felt it whenever Olruggio curved his hand over his cheek and brushed his lips over his, felt it even when he tried to do something as innocent as threading their fingers together.
It turned out that even after you pulled something out by the root, the ghost of it still lingered long after it was gone.
