Tragedy has its place, it always has, from the catharsis of Aristotle to watching The Notebook after a breakup.
Unfortunatley, Hob Gadling is done with tragedy.

Summary
Hob has died a lot. A lot. He's also a mess of a person besides the dying, but fuck it, he's amazing at rock paper scissors and talking to magical beings with british politeness. He's also in charge of rescuing the King of Dreams, Hope of Humanity, Subconscious of the Entire Human Race from Hell. He's very tired.

Summary
A year after Eddie Munson dies in the Upside Down, Steve Harrington finds him alive in front of the trailer he used to call home.
But Eddie is different than before. He has ears that peek, bat-like, above his hair and eyes that burn gold in the night, and the memories of his old life, his name, the relationship he and Steve once held, are gone.
Steve is left to pick up the pieces, to help Eddie adjust to his new normal, all while hoping that someday life can be as it once was.
**
“Eddie,” he pleads, “Eddie, baby—”
But Eddie’s eyes are already rolling back, his consciousness slipping as Steve holds him.
“Robin!” He doesn’t recognize his own voice, high and cracking and desperate. “Robin, help me!” He cradles Eddie’s face in his hand and supports him with the other, blood staining his shirt.
Steve doesn’t care. He doesn’t care about anything because Eddie is here. He’s alive. He’s different and bloodied but even as Robin approaches, even as she tells him this looks really bad, Steve, Steve breathes his first full breath since 1986.

Steve Harrington Tears the Munson Doctrine to Shreds by Peachesandpears

Summary
Eddie had always been more than happy with the quick and dirty of Indy. He’d always been content to get his rocks off with some guy with the mutual understanding that they’d never have to see each other again. It was the beautiful symbiotic relationship of two gay dudes who would forever be a stain on the collective American moral conscious. And he loved being a stain on moral consciouses.
But Steve fucking Harrington, the goddamn bastard, is making him yearn. Tore the Munson Doctrine to shreds, the sacrilegious asshole.
OR- 5 times Eddie doesn't know how to deal with being in a relationship with Steve Harrington, and 1 time he turns the tables.

Summary
“Never wander alone, my darling, or Jenny Grinteeth will get you,” Hunith used to say. “Or if you forget, make sure you say the rhyme - that wards her off.”
Jenny Grinteeth leave me be, my mother loves me, leave me be.
Jenny Grinteeth is a game they play. But as Merlin is sucked into life at Camelot, he wanders alone more than ever. He is surrounded by people, but he doubts they love him; they can’t really even know him. The loneliness becomes so routine, he forgets his mother’s warnings and the funny, little rhymes, which might otherwise have saved his life.
