Summary
The thing is, Mike knows.
He’s known for the last eleven months, two weeks, and eighteen days. He’s known since it became impossible for Will to hide it, when the darkness almost killed him.
They just don’t talk about it. He doesn’t care that Will doesn’t like girls, or that he used to like some nameless boy a long time ago, back when they were kids, or somewhere in the blur of growing up.
But now, as the movie plays on and Bellamy leans closer to whisper something to Will, all Mike can do is think about it.
Or, after the end of the world, Mike Wheeler thinks he’s managed to go back to normal. Even if Eleven is gone. Even if Hawkins will never be the same. But then Will makes a new friend and Mike realizes he can’t outrun forever the feelings that follow.

Summary
When Max is sent away for a month for advanced out of state hospital treatment, Lucas is left with way too much time and way too many feelings. So when he notices the unresolved tension simmering between Will and Mike, he decides to do something about it. But before he can even process what that truly entails, he’s already knee deep in secrets, feelings, and “friendships” that are a lot more complicated than he signed up for.
