Kirishima waited.
“It’s not normal in my family to talk about shit like this. You guys talk about feelings like it’s nothing. Like it’s normal. Like it doesn’t make your skin crawl.” He swallowed hard. “I didn’t grow up with that.”
Kirishima shifted closer, slow and deliberate, giving Bakugou every chance to pull away. “You don’t have to be tough with me, man.”
“It’s. Hard for me. To talk about.” Bakugou ground out, teeth clenched and shoulders tense.
Kirishima had learned a lack of outright refusal was Bakugou’s way of saying yes, so he continued on. “You don’t have to tell me everything. What if you just tell me one thing for now? Something about when you were a kid—anything you want.”
“Fucking fine. One thing.” He huffed, tearing his gaze away like the act of looking at Kirishima physically weakened him.

"No, you should be worrying about him," she says, jutting her chin forward to indicate something behind Kazuo.
As if on cue, a low, echoing growl travels through the halls, and Kazuo feels his heart immediately pick up, beating wildly in his chest and so hard it almost hurts.

5 times people don't realize that Deku is already in a very happy relationship and try their hand at asking him out, and then in Bakugou's unique and special style, get very firmly corrected, +1 time where no correction is needed.

“Congratulations on getting nine out of ten questions correct! Without further ado, let’s move on to the last question..” Hanazawa paused for dramatic effect as the lights dimmed and the spotlights overhead honed in on their podiums.
“What is … your hero partner’s type?”
A brief silence.
“‘Type?’” Izuku questioned at the same time as Kacchan.
“Yes, type,” the host laughed. “Like, who would they date? What are they into?”
The blood drained from Izuku’s face and he shot a panicked look at Kacchan. The blond didn’t seem to be faring any better, his gaze zeroed in on Hanazawa as if he could will her to change the question to something else.
Izuku... didn't know the answer to that.

In order to increase their popularity rankings as up and coming pro heroes, Izuku and Katsuki participate in the most popular late night talk show for hero duos - ‘Heroes Rising!’. They’re killing it, obviously, because they know each other from inside and out. Until one question stumps the two of them: “What is your hero partner’s type?”

Almost half an hour has passed, and Kirishima and Bakugou still haven’t come back. Bakugou may be fine running on fumes, and could probably blast his way through the second part of the exam on pure willpower and stubbornness. But Kirishima should probably eat, and relax for at least a bit.
Kaminari is such a good friend. He hopes Kirishima appreciates him properly. He gets to his feet and wanders out into the hall, looking for a glimpse of Bakugou or Kirishima.
