Summary
It begins, probably, when Bucky gets his first cold in over seventy years.
He’s waking up one morning – habitually early as hell – and he immediately feels like something’s off. He shifts a bit to blink around the room, frowning at the ceiling. He’s thirsty, for one, and his throat is scratchy as all get-out. And his head hurts. And okay, he’s sore. Really sore. Is he hungover?
Bucky burrows back into the covers and thinks back to the night before. He and Steve both had wine with dinner, but that’s not enough to get him feeling like crap now, and it never was, even before his off-brand serum.
He decides to ignore it.

“Wh-when we get h-home,” Herman whispered next to his ear, giving Robert goosebumps. “Can I…b-bottom?”
Robert gave him a look. “Of course, Hermy.” He’d done it plenty of times before. While Herman usually preferred to top, they switched it up every now and then.
“I-it’s something…different,” Herman clarified, seemingly picking up on his confusion. He hesitated, seeming shy. “I’ll tell you m-more when we get home?”
No matter how many times Herm referred to his place as home, it still brought butterflies to Robert’s stomach.
He smiled. “Sure.”

Boyfriend… Seojun gulps. It’s looking like he owes Doyun a meal at that expensive grill downtown. They are in a gay part of town, right? Maybe he really is in a glass closet.
“Is that a problem?” Hwaseong asks, tilting his head, eyes now sharp.
Seojun realizes he’d been staring. “No, no, not at all! Sorry, you’re just…wow.”
Hwaseong smiles serenely, any past danger gone from his expression. “I get that a lot. Want to dance?”

“Where am I?” Yeosang immediately blurts out.
The driver responds, projecting his voice to the back of the car. “In the trunk of a black Bentley going south along the interstate. We’ve been driving about…” he peers at the dashboard. “Four and a half hours. Should be home soon, if those storm clouds leave us alone.”
Yeosang blinks, not expecting an actual answer. “And who the hell are you??”
“Ignoring that bit of attitude, my name is Yunho.” Before Yeosang can reply, he speaks again, glancing back with a calm smile. “And you’re Kang Yeosang, right? Dropped out of grad school after your parents cut you off and kicked you out. Been living on the streets and homeless shelters on and off since. To be honest…"
He chuckles.
"You were pretty easy to find.”

Yeosang’s heart broke. San was that homesick? He had no idea San even referred to his parents in such a cute way. Yeosang was just settling down on his back to reach a hand out in comfort when another loud whine from San caused someone else to start shifting around in the blankets. Yeosang couldn’t tell who it was, but San clearly knew, sitting up to rub his eyes with a sad little sniffle. For some reason, it was Yeosang’s immediate reaction to stay quiet - and it was probably for the best, because-

Somehow, instead of blowing up in his face, it avalanches into a tentative friendship filled with crime-fighting, Netflix bingeing, top notch take-out, city-saving, shenanigans, weird alien symbiotes, and personal growth.
