Gerard, the local librarian, has a not-so-secret admirer. Frank can't resist spending most of his time in the library, fawning over Gerard from afar. It seems useless to make a move, since Gerard is so clearly far too sweet and gentle to match Frank's much kinkier tastes... But Frank will soon learn to never judge a book by it's cover.

When a last-minute trip right before their first year of college doesn't quite go as planned, Frank and Gerard's friendship starts to unravel. As they grow up and battle with careers, relationships and considerable trauma, it seems that things can only ever get worse when they've been ignoring one simple thing for more than a decade -- that they've been in love ever since the start.

Summary
Moving to a different state to attend a new school for my junior year wasn't how I planned on spending my summer. However, this might be exactly what I wanted. My new friends as weird as me except something is off about every single one of them. I wanted to find out what, particularly one of the boys with messy, black bangs who always carried a worn out sketchbook.

Summary
Frankie closes his eyes, and hops off of Gerard’s bed. He does another small spin, before grinning darkly at Gerard, “Welcome to Maudlin Street Asylum! You’re here to stay.”
“Here to stay?” Gerard questions, and gives Frankie a worried look. Frankie opens his eyes, and nods.
“You bet, if things ever get too much here, just remember, there’s no chance of getting out of here alive.”
Gerard awakes in an insane asylum after a suicide attempt that he doesn’t even remember doing. There, he meets Frankie, a patient at the asylum who he’s lucky to be his roommate, and guide through this place, instead of the wicked nurses that he learns way too soon how horrible they really are.
