Summary
She leaves her burning island and never once looks back. There are things out there that they must consume and understand, for fear of it being lost. Robin refuses to lose anything else.
(Little flower, little flower, don’t you just want to grow further and further and further and further and further and further until there is nothing left but what is ours)
On this it seems, she and her devil are in agreement.

Summary
Once upon a time, there was a pig and there was a wolf. There has to be, because in these kinds of stories, you can’t have one without the other.
In this story, as it so often happens, the pig builds something and the wolf says that he’s going to blow it down.
We don’t know what or why exactly, but we can guess. Maybe the pig has built a house to protect itself and the wolf wants to eat the pig. Maybe the pig has built a government and the wolf thinks it's corrupt. Maybe the pig has built a cage and the wolf just wants to be free. Maybe it doesn’t really matter what the pig built or why the wolf wants to destroy it, because the point still stands, does it not?
(However, it is important to remember that these stories are only ever half successful for both parties)

He’s stabbing a sword into the body. It’s covered in ichor too.
(look little halfblood, a voice croons in the back of his head, doesn’t it make your stomach rumble? )

or alternatively, a cautionary tale as to why you really shouldn't drink god-blood if you don't want to go hungry (or feral, whichever comes first)

Summary
One day they're all sitting in class and a teacher's listing names. One day Gai-sensei is challenging them to never give up. One day they're taking what they can get and running with it.
One day starts and they're alone. It ends when they're a team.
There's a lot of other things to be said, a lot of other things to be known, but that’s the important bit

the idea that a devil fruit is not simply a powerup but instead a vital part of your being that you will never escape unless you die (and even then its not that simple) is a very important concept to me.

The news spread around the cultivation world quickly: Hanguang-jun would take whomever was skilled enough to take the Gusu Jade Token from around his neck as his cultivation partner and spouse.
Ten years later, Wei Wuxian is brought back into Mo Xuanyu's body, and he is awfully confused as to why random cultivators keep trying to attack Lan Wangji.
