Summary
After his intial ride falls through, Oscar asks Lando to give him a lift to his wisdom tooth removal and home again. At first he plans to just take care of himself after the procedure, but after finding out it was actual surgery, Lando insists on sticking around, just until he knows Oscar has shaken off the effects of the anesthesia. This plan falls apart however when Oscar suddenly experiences what feels like every nasty side effect known to man, and Lando finds himself out of his depth.

Harley had said something three days earlier. It was offhanded and immediately forgotten by him, while Peter continued to think about it for the next seventy-two hours.
“Sorry, Parker – it’s family dinner night.”
Family dinner night.
And family, apparently, didn’t include Peter Parker.
So, maybe he’d been spending the past three days passive aggressively talking about all the things Mr Stark and he had in common that Harley couldn’t relate to. Maybe he’d been pulling Iron Man out and specifically searching for danger that he would normally avoid or leave to the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen or some other vigilante. Maybe he’d been solely focused on giving a metaphorical middle finger to Harley by having oh so many inside jokes with Mr Stark.
Peter knew it was stupid.

He means that in a quite literal sense. He should be at the first debrief of the weekend right now. But there’s just the minor complication of him having woken up ready to projectile vomit whatever his stomach contained that makes it feel like that.

Oscar gets food poisoning in Baku and drives anyways. As you can imagine, this has consequences.

He just sat there blinking at them, half-buried in a blanket, like he couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t let him help.

The dorm common room was cluttered with open textbooks and half-drunk mugs of soup. Lando hunched over his notes, coughing into his sleeve, while Carlos muttered numbers from his statistics book and Daniel scribbled equations across a notebook. Steam from the soup fogged the air, but it did nothing to warm the chill sinking into Lando’s bones. His pen slipped twice, his head drooping closer to the page, and he tried to ignore the shiver rattling through him.
or: Exam week combined with a cold and a multitude of responsibilities is not a great mix. Lando realises that very quickly.

"Shit, you okay?" Lando asks as he sees Oscar being practically out of it after 5 minutes.
"Yeah, 'm alright. Just need a minute" Oscar says in between deep breaths
Oscar's eyes are rimmed red and were on the verge of closing. He was definitely not alright
