” But where exactly are we g-going?” Harry asked, shouting to make himself heard over the screeching of the Knight Bus’s brakes (and the groans of its other passengers) and stammering his words every time they hit a particularly large bump. “The Leaky Cauldron? We could stay in Diagon…”
Really, he thought as the bus popped through time and space again, he’d happily go to Timbuktu if Riddle declared that their destination, as long as he didn’t have to go back to Privet Drive.
“We can’t stay in the magical world,” Riddle said, though he sounded annoyed by this too. “Two boys on the younger side without any adults will draw attention, and that’s the last thing we want. No, we’ll go to London proper, where no one gives a toss and we can blend in with all the rabble.”
Or: Harry Potter and Tom Riddle go rogue from Dumbledore’s plans, and go a little wild in Muggle London, the summer after their first year.

Mistress_ofDeath shrugged again over the Zoom call. “This account is just a throwaway, and I’ve got better things to do with my time than spam a crafts website. I’m just here to give you one chance—one—to stop scamming people and move into an honest line of work—or at the very least, a grift that isn’t offensive to the actual Lady Magic. Sell crypto or something; then you’ll just be bleeding wankers who have it coming anyway. Or do OnlyFans—you’ve got the body for it and a lot of that crowd are into witchy stuff.”

Summary
“You have to promise me—promise you won’t waste it.” Tom bites his tongue. “Promise me you’ll become great, not just sit for decades missing me, moldering and letting moss grow over you…”
Moss, he thinks, sounds like a comforting prospect right now. A moss-covered stone doesn’t feel, doesn’t notice the passing of the years or experience the loss and yearning that will only increase as each one goes by.
The Minister has never been known to take a lover, never been photographed over a candlelit dinner with a fellow prominent wix or caught in an embrace with someone scandalous. His oldest associates say that he had someone precious once; a boy he called not just his love but his soulmate. There are rumors that Riddle is still waiting for him to come back, that that’s why he studied alchemy for a decade, made a Philosopher’s Stone and still looks no older than thirty. But that would be madness, surely.
Harry travels through time, loves Tom Riddle, and changes the trajectory of his life forever. And then, he disappears.

Summary
Tom is home, busy with one of his meetings, and Harry is used to his absence most days, knowing he has matters to attend. They have a huge mansion anyway, with them being apart only a few meters at best.
But tonight, their pup—Caius—is incredibly sick with a fever. Harry has tried fever-reducing potions, but they only work for a little bit before Caius is flushing up with fever again. He hasn't stopped crying all day, and now it's late at night. Harry checks his temperature again, heart dropping when he sees it raised so high. His own eyes well up as he picks up the one-and-a-half-year-old baby, cradling him close as he rushes to Tom, uncaring about interrupting him. He'd never done it before, but tonight? He didn't care.
"Tom—!" He bursts in, crying alongside the baby as he gently rocks him. "Tom, he's sick, please let's go to St. Mungo's." It doesn't register to him that all the alphas in the room are suddenly frantic, seeing their Lord's omega in such distress. They're trying their best to calm Harry down—one is already shoving Floo powder into Harry's palm, talking about something Harry hardly acknowledges, eyes fixed on Tom.
