Summary
He flipped to the second picture. Same uncomfortable, exquisite outfit. In this one, the back and all its straps faced the camera. There were four pictures total, all in various provocative poses. None of them revealed the sender's face, cut out of frame. They didn't have to.

Summary
"When you say 'anemic'," Crocodile waved his hook idly, pointing at the blood vial reading on the cot's clipboard, "what's that implicate?"
"Well. Well that his red blood cells are below par. They're incapable of carrying the necessary oxygen everywhere in his body. Honestly, honestly! His blood count is so catastrophically low that I am shocked he's even alive. He needs a blood transfusion yesterday."
"Then do it," came Mihawk's seething retort.
In which Mihawk suffers from chronic anemia and Crocodile steps up as a blood donor. Unexpected side effects ensue.

Summary
He stared at the rush of movement. White-coats flanking the entrance, the admirals each standing in a line. The few powerful pirates among the new warlord rank shivered, blanched. "Him? You want to make him a warlord?"
"It is better to keep enemies close than off in the dark to fester," the Red Dog spoke.
There was no other way to describe it — a desert walked into the war room.
Alternate One Piece universe where being a Logia means owning a power beyond fathoming, and Haki is a curse.

Summary
By definition, ailurophilia is the love for cats. For two ex-warlords it's just another nuisance in blue fur that appeared after loosing their previous headache of a clown. Even then, there was never anything they could do to stop the inconvenient, growing devotion to a furry bastard who refused to die. They never expected any of this but least of all, that the damn cat purring on their lap would be non other than their lost figurehead.

Summary
Distantly, he felt the aches and bruises of people climbing from the collapsed stones. A chorus of replies came at the clown's beck. Non-answers, reiterations of facts. That Hawkeyes had gone underground. That he'd gone in alone, and that the rest of the crew should expect him soon.
His hand fisted on the dust and ash under himself. Damn it, if he could just turn, get up, get the room to put his legs under—
The whole structure shifted as if to close up the gaps leftover. He felt a different mind determinately focusing on that unfilled space.
Mihawk almost dies. Crocodile wouldn't let that happen.

Summary
He paused then at a patch of grassless dirt, assumed a fighting stance with Yoru. "I'm going to hit you."
Crocodile blinked, didn't dodge his strike, sand phasing out of form and back into place unbothered.
"…Was there something I said?"
"You're going to train your Haki with me, starting with sensing where I'll guide my blade to strike."
Three attempts Mihawk makes to court Crocodile, and the fourth that works on himself.

Summary
His foot stumbled on an invisible step.
What was…? He held the side of his heavy head. His vision dragged along the command table. What was going on? Had the sea churned up in a sudden storm? He had never felt so, sick to his stomach before. Maybe once.
It didn't click until he cracked the lid of the crate open and saw the stack of raw seaprism stone just, lying there, yet unshaped into shackles, that he understood why the floor caved under him and the scrape of teeth stung on his tongue.
In which a bounty of seastone brings up a bad reaction in Crocodile, and Mihawk helps him through it.

Summary
“My mother was a saint,” he slurred and visibly tightened his hold over the neck of the bottle.
If he had been sober, Crocodile would’ve swiftly changed the subject. The past is a place he doesn’t like to visit, be it his or someone else’s. Drunk as he is, he just nods.
“Mine was an amoral bitch,” he shared. “I do miss her sometimes.”

Summary
Once the marines landed ashore, the base became a field of orders. Specks and dust billowed from their stomping around. Mihawk traced the current of sand. Too thick, and too neat to be natural. Then a captain, or vice-admiral, all the same to him, thanked and dismissed them.
"What will you do with your free time, Hawkeyes?"
"Not sure yet. I will miss the challenges to my title…"
Crocodile chuckled. Then turned around. He showed Mihawk his back, confidently, proudly. And climbed aboard their small marine-flagged ship. Sengoku's courtesy. Over his shoulder he said, "I'm sure you are capable of finding something to entertain youself with."
In which Mihawk passes the years studying one of his oldest acquaintances, Sir Crocodile.

Mihawk's head smashed into the railing, broke through it.
He fell into the sea.

Summary
The lizard stood itself taller. Its full body, no longer than Mihawk's forearm and hand together, tensed up. Its hissed squeal was squarely directed at his face. The sound came off angry, indignant, and most strange of all, entitled to his attention. It had one missing left limb.
"…Sir Crocodile?"
"Meep." A nod.
Well.
Undeniably, Mihawk must be going mad.
In which Mihawk must go through lizard-pet handling training, Buggy becomes an accountant, and they race after a certain Devil Fruit to get Crocodile back on two legs.
