The walk out of Udon was like walking across hell, and the only solitary thing that seems to go right is that Killer knew where to go.

Zoro’s gaze follows Sanji’s, to the way his tail is twitching weakly at the tip, golden fur dotted with rosettes. Then the pretty tufts at his ears. “Your Devil Fruit,” Zoro gestures at him. “Law’s a user himself. But says your Zoan is weird.”
That’d be because Sanji isn’t a devil fruit user at all. He’s a hybrid by birthright. But Sanji would never tell Zoro that.
Sanji’s been kept in Germa for manifesting as a hybrid, but after escaping at twenty-one, he becomes indebted to a pirate for saving him.

Summary
Someone hurt him, and they hurt him bad. His entire body seemed wired differently as a response to some sort of trauma. And his self-esteem was so low it was in the gutters despite his facade of bravado and confidence. He couldn’t believe it when Zeff complimented him, and was quick to beat himself up for every mistake. So whoever did this to him didn’t stop at physical abuse. They broke him completely, body and spirit, filling him with self-hatred and fear.

When Luffy told Zoro that the new guy was his boyfriend, the swordsman thought he had misheard. Afterall, it had been a rough few days and Zoro had lost a lot of blood.
Nope, his captain was serious.
After taking time to observe the cook, Zoro came to the realisation that the blonde had no idea of his apparent relationship.
This could be fun
Or a look into Zoro watching this odd relationship bloom and realising that he accidentally made friends with the the oblivious cook.

The little reindeer paused, mid-bite, and his face broke into a huge grin that Sanji would never associate with thoughts of the idiot mosshead.
“Zoro’s so strong and cool,” Chopper said, swinging his hooves underneath the table with uncontained glee, “And he’s kind and comfy.”

A smile unfurls on Luffy's lips, lazy and smug. Like he knew something Sanji didn't. When the blonde glares at him, Luffy simply grins back sunnily.
"You're still not listening, are you, Sanji?"

Sanji pulls his thumb from his mouth to run it under the water. It’s freezing and his thumb stings awfully as he holds it there. The cut is deeper than he thought. Maybe worth a visit to Chopper. That will put his dinner plans on hold until whatever needs to happen happens; be it glue or stitches or a higher grade bandage than what Sanji keeps inside his kitchen.
His blood runs cold as he realises that he isn’t as bothered by all of this as he ought to be.

After disposing of the raid suit, Sanji starts to spiral as he worries that he is turning into something he desperately wants not to be. In an effort not to let Sora's sacrifice be in vain, he battles with himself and denial while trying to hide his concerns from a crew who know him well enough to see when he is not as okay as he pretends to be.
