Summary
Shanks, 34 years old, is a man in full downward spiral: an alcoholic, without a stable job, an occasional drug dealer, living in a miserable apartment. He secretly envies the stability of his twin brother Shamrock and even that of his adoptive brother Buggy. Aware of his failures but unable to change on his own, he sabotages all his relationships and flees from any responsibility.
At the birthday party of his adoptive father Rayleigh, Shanks arrives drunk and high, hours late, triggering a painful confrontation with his family. For the first time, he admits his fear and agrees to enter a rehabilitation center. Supported by Rayleigh, Shamrock, Buggy, Crocodile, and even Mihawk, he takes this decisive step.

Summary
Sanji worked as a pole dancer and strip-teaser in Emporio Ivankov's club until he retired, then he decided to persue his path and coming out as a FTM A treacherous road.
Then somewhat he found himself bound to marry one of the most powerful man in the city, in search of a (female) wife, in exchange of saving Iva's club and all the people working there.
Sanji needs to be and act as a wife and a companion to Sir Crocodile, but he got to have a sparkling rich life, away from starvation and poverty. He got to have his tea party with a red-head socialite, a witty long-nosed driver, a sweet personal waitress and a super personal bodyguard.
What's the catch?
That he actually fell in love with Crocodile's stoic head of security. Zoro can be tough and cynic, but Sanji can see how protective and caring is towards everybosy who fell under his "protective wing".
But Crocodile's job is tough too and so are his enemies. The man is more concerned with protecting his business than noticing what is happening in his home. Until he's not.
Between attacks, shootings, gala parties, stolen kisses and more, they are all trying to stay afloat and, maybe, reach some kind of happiness. -

Zoro had never worn anything so richly made before in his life. It smelled of Mihawk, of sandalwood and jasmine and the subtle, masculine scent of the man’s body, his heat, his sweat. He’d found himself stroking the open front of it with his thumb, back and forth against that almost-impossible softness, his heavy mind unable to even comprehend it. Mihawk's amber eyes tracked the movement like a predator tracking the nervous twitching of its prey.
“I'll ruin this,” Zoro warned him. He was too big, too clumsy, too covered in open wounds for something so fine.
“But you'll look exquisite doing it,” Mihawk replied.
A fic exploring what happens when Zoro arrives at Kuraigana at the start of the time skip half-dead from his various injuries, determined to grow stronger before Luffy needs him again.

Mihawk doesn't care about Perona or Zoro. They are merely roommates who have imposed themselves on him and his quiet life on Kuraigana. He doesn't care about making them happy, and he doesn't care about keeping them safe. And he definitely would never let himself be hurt while trying to protect one of them.
Shanks knows his and Mihawk's relationship is long over. Mihawk has made that clear. But when the World's Greatest Swordsman's Vivre card starts shrinking, Shanks has to go see what happened. Mihawk won't let him care, but Shanks at least needs to know what's going on.

Zoro can’t believe he's here, getting wasted with the greatest swordsman the world has ever known. So far.
They're several bottles in, and Zoro has taken up residence on the barstool next to him, matching him glass for glass, feeling the watery frills of that red shirt brush against his bare forearm every time he moves. The room has started gently spinning, the booze is strong, but the other man is watching him with something like grudging respect every time he finishes another glass of the stuff, so it's worth it.
This is great. He's going to get such a good grade in Dracule Mihawk.
