"Seven minutes or more. It’s truly a strange concept. The idea that after we die, our brains might still be active for a little reliving our most cherished memories over and over again."

The sun blazing in New Mexico desert, the golden glimmer of the droplets of Australium clung onto the dead mercenary’s machine, they’d finally did it.
Wait, what was that about the “baboon pregnancy pen”?

Summary
“So you’re stuck with him,” Scott surmises. A moment later, something flickers in his expression, as if he’s just had a grand revelation. “Unless… you give him a taste of his own medicine.” Scott’s eyes hold a mischievous gleam in them, the blue of his irises seeming deeper and darker as the edge of his lips tilt up in a smirk. He’s always been good like that, encouraging mischief when he deems it fit.
Blinking, Grian lifts her chin up to meet his gaze. “What do you mean?” she asks, lifting a brow, curious as to where he's going with this.
“Well—if he’s annoying you and Impulse and Mumbo don’t want to fire him, you could just… annoy him into quitting,” Scott offers with a little shrug.
Grian considers the thought with a soft breath, tapping her nails on the table. “Annoy him into quitting, huh?”
With Mumbo and Impulse refusing to fire Hotguy, Griande decides to take matters into her own hands.

Summary
“I don’t need the city’s pretty boy superhero to protect me. The guy is insufferable!” she exclaimed, though her words were quickly followed by a slight wince, knowing her best friend was quite the fan of Hotguy’s, “Sorry Mumbo—But, I have Skizz!” Grian argued with him, desperate to find any loophole to get out of Hotguy being her bodyguard. “Surely that’s good enough, yeah?”
Impulse frowned, “Ariana Griande doesn’t need a bodyguard, are you crazy Grian?” He lifted a disbelieving brow. “You’ve got people trying to climb over the barricades to get to you twenty four seven. The extra protection really wouldn’t hurt.”
“Skizz is also head of security,” Mumbo pointed out. “He can’t keep a constant eye out for you, er, despite how much he may try to…” he trailed off. “But Hotguy can, and he will.”
After being rescued by Hotguy during a concert, Ariana Griande finds herself with a brand new bodyguard. Her managers and Hotguy himself seem thrilled about the turn of events. She, however, is not.

Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”
