Now, Geralt and Ciri must travel the multiverse to find him, before the monster catches up to them and devours them all.

    Another of the fics that makes The Magnus Archives just a little lighter, a little bit better -- I know it's a tragedy, I know that's not the point, but just like in this fic I cannot help but love that there is still hope, here, that there is someone willing to say "but what if it were better". How strange, how lovely - how wonderful that they got to be happy, even if only for a little while.
