It’s the last week of summer before Lan WangJi starts his freshman year in college - the same college that all the kids in this city go to (don’t ask) - and he’s spending it like he always does: relaxing with his brother at their family’s very luxurious beach house. This year, some frat bros just so happen to be renting the house next door, and it just so happens that Lan XiChen knows them (really well - probably a bit too well, if you catch my drift).
Nie HuaiSang’s older brother, Nie MingJue, is basically, like, the king of the frat. Wei WuXian and Jiang WanYin have been childhood friends with HuaiSang since young and end up as HuaiSang’s honorary guests on this vacation getaway.

“This should be good,” he whispered to Draco.
“I do think so,” Draco said, but he was watching Harry and not really paying attention to the argument developing at the other end of the table.
“It’s perfectly harmless,” Ginny said. She’d made a pile of potato skins on her plate and was shaping them into a castle for Victoire’s benefit. “It intensifies feeling, makes a little something— more than there was before. There’s a touch of a potion of attraction— the legal sort, mind you— and a bit of— well it’s related to Veritaserum—”
“But it’s much less harmful to the recipient,” George added. “And there’s a drop of a luck potion I picked up in Bolivia. Recreated it in the Wheezes lab.”
“Impressive,” Harry said. “Don’t you think, Draco?”
“Who? Oh, the mistletoe. Surely, yes.” Draco wasn't listening. How could he when Harry was right there, existing? It was like staring into the sun.
