Summary
Sooin tracked the progress of Anna’s world tour on a creased atlas tacked to her wall, in stamp-sized articles in the newspapers that slowly grew to fill the page. She filled her missing with grainy pictures of Anna with a mic at her lips and the stage lights reflected in her eyes, and Sooin wanted her with a ferocity stronger than ever.
The way Sooin lights up with relief is worth everything, Anna thinks, worth the two lonely years on the road, the piercing glare of stagelights and days spent missing warmth; as well as the decade before that when loving Sooin was only a dream.
She imagines them meeting in New York, her hotel lobby, Sooin’s beloved face turning towards Anna as she rises from the couch; on the street, Sooin’s eyes narrowed with determination as she searches relentlessly; at one of Anna’s concerts, a familiar face in the adoring audience that makes her forget a lyric, trip over teetering heels.
There are so many firsts in their future that it’s kind of dizzying. Anna never dared to dream of this, never allowed herself to expect anything. But now Sooin’s standing right before her, near enough to get addicted to this warmth, Anna can’t stop herself from wanting.

There was definitely carnal intent in Gawon's eyes, unmistakable when Sooin forced herself to meet them without blushing. It made the pit fall out of her stomach, her heart do backflips. She felt almost weak with relief that it was evident Gawon wanted this as much as her.
"I didn't know..." she answered Gawon's question, a few beats too late. Gawon looked dazed, like he had already forgotten what he had said, as if his mind was as chaotic as Sooin's right now.
He smiled wolfishly, lips drawing back to reveal his teeth. He lowered his voice and Sooin shivered at Gawon's frank words.

gawon’s body is home, and sooin feels so blissful to be able to finally relax back into her touches and warm caresses. gawon’s tongue fills her mouth, drives out all wild thoughts. she pushes fingers inside sooin ever so gently.
“are you all right? am i hurting you?”
“no. harder. more.” sooin wraps her legs around gawon’s hips tighter. she wishes gawon will hurt her in a way she can still feel when she awakes. but, she knows, the hand working her slickness, pinning her to the mattress, will disintegrate like sea foam into mist the moment she falls out of this world.
