However, if the cops turn up, they might find out about the phone calls. They might also broadcast one of his mental breakdowns or hallucinations and he already got enough bad publicity.
However, when a new Ghostface murder spree starts, an angry Dewey is straight at his door. Finn is asked to help work out who is terrorising Samantha Carpenter and her sister. For once, he is helping rather than committing the crimes himself.

So, here’s the problem—because there is a problem, despite how well this is all going for Michael, given the circumstances. The problem is that when Michael turns twenty-one, Loomis will suggest to the courts, as Michael’s doctor, that the boy is unsavable. And because he is unreachable, he cannot be up for any release program.
Instead, Loomis would vouch for Michael’s continued incarceration.
But Michael is eighteen now, and he has one last opportunity: A REFORM ACADEMY.
