Summary
Husk's feelings towards Alastor have always been complicated. From the moment they met in the 70s, all the way to now. Unfortunately for him, another tall skinny twink has appeared in his life and since they recently had a heart-to-heart, Husk is even more conflicted. The only way he knows how to cope with that is by taking it out on Alastor.
Alastor is trapped between a rock and a hard place. Back in the 70s he was all swagger and a lot of cocaine by bodyweight, but now he has to contend with being ordered to help the Princess of Hell with her little project. Luckily, that idiot King of Hell has inadvertently dropped a crucial bit of info that might help Alastor get out of his deal with Rosie. All he needs to do is find it.
Niffty is happy to have Alastor back after his seven year absence. The world was a bit more tough when she and Husk were left to their own devices. She can see Husk is working through some issues for himself but all she can do is comfort him and maybe nudge him in the right direction to face his feelings.

Husk is the gambling overlord, he's lived his afterlife comfortably, drinking, gaining souls with ease, money and flings. With the other overlords celebrating who earnt the most souls this month, Husk meets someone interesting. And for some reason; decides to play afterlife a little dangerously and all of a sudden, being alone gets harder and harder than it was before.
Angel Dust is everything that gets one into hell; "Dumb slut", Obnoxious and rude, a drug addict and a killer. Owned by the Vees - Valentino specifically - his afterlife is actual hell, one action causes a crack that collapses his walls. He slowly finds comfort in the familiar, divulging in something that isn't drink or drugs, and he's afraid that the first person he finds love with in years may be the same person willing to risk everything.

Five years ago, the Vees had won their war against Heaven. Charlie’s plan against them had failed and Alastor had lost against Vox, having run away mid fight again.
Due to Vox’s semantics, they had gotten up to Heaven, taken over, and regained with their own dictatorship that was both hated and worshipped by all and none.
Heaven had stood down for about six months before taking back their power by force, just as Vox had done. Another war had broke out, crashing both realms into unmistakable violence. The Vees had lost after a month of war and had been put to trial.
A grueling trial had began. Exposing. Graphic.
They each got their own punishments. Personal. Intimate.
They would be separated for the rest of eternity. Doomed to their own inane fates.
Valentino however, his was different.
And nowadays he was with someone who had sought to destroy him.

In hell, he went to the wrong people, building up those same old bad habits. Even worse, he fell in love with the wrong people even harder than he ever had before. One such case destroyed his entire being. Valentino...
Husk chased the thrills of life, both in life and in death. Alcohol and gambling, the bling of it all, it filled his entire being with joy. His love for those thrills often caused him to lose what he loved most. The people in his life ran off, leaving him high and dry. It was what he reaped for himself, after all.
Though, one hotel changed all of that... And the night in which Angel Dust returned, Husk's heart shifted into something new. He had lost love long ago, but through a sinner with bold eyeliner and a pink suit, he gained it back. And for Angel, solace and comfort came from an ex-overlord who wanted nothing more than to hold him.
