Police did everything they can to find these people, but their investigation only came out cold. All they could find were empty hallways and lots of ink. When they tried to question Joey, he could barely give a straight answer, making the case even more confusing. For years the families of the missing workers were left with nothing but unanswered questions. Today those questions will be answered. This is the story of what happened to those workers.

Audrey, animation director at ArchGate Pictures, is tired. With a dwindling animation staff, she is once again working yet another late night on a series of late nights trying to meet the deadline for the very first original cartoon on the "Bendy Revival" project.
All is well until she gets up for a cup of coffee and finds herself pulled into a strange sepia world of ink and monsters. Armed with little beyond her wits, Audrey will have to find a way back to the ArchGate or, as the denizens of the inky world quickly make apparent, die trying.
