Chyra almost drowned when she crash landed on the Paladin's temporary base planet, badly injured and piloting a strange grey vessel. What was he supposed to do?
He couldn't just let her die.
Chyra didn't belong anywhere. For a while, she was simply an orphan. Then she was an assassin, then an experiment. Eventually she became a traitor. She lost her family, and was cast adrift among the stars with only a damaged robotic wolf for company.
And then she found the paladins.
Then she found hope.

At the center of everything, there is dust: the remaining fragments of stars that burned long ago, full of endless potential. From these tiny specks, gravity shapes new universes into existence. I he could save even more, he was willing to go back, suffering anything that was needed so he could get the future he desired for Shiro and Keith, because he didn't care about himself at all, he didn't care about having to comply to stupid time travel rules, jumping between timelines, it didn't matter in the end if he could get what he wanted. And he was not alone, Allura had given him enough to work with, so he was going to get this fixed.
