Summary
Tifa Lockhart gives in to her friend Jessie's insistence that they go up to a club in Sector 8 one night, 6 months before the events of Final Fantasy Seven. While there, Tifa decides to hang out at the bar, where she meets a quiet man who obviously works for Shinra, having a drink after a bad day at work. That man is Tseng of the Turks. He doesn't tell Tifa what he does for the company, and has no idea that she is a member of Avalanche. They hit it off, and she goes home with him, beginning a relationship that hits a major bump after the bombing of Mako Reactor One. However, it isn't until Mako Reactor Five and the Sector Seven Plate collapse that they realize their lover's affiliations. Despite it all, they choose each other, and after our party escapes from Shinra with Aerith Gainsborough in tow, Tseng sends a healed up Zack Fair to help them in their quest against Sephiroth, helping them himself from behind the scenes, changing the course of our characters and their fates.

This started as a random thought that grew into a full-blown obsession: what if it wasn't just Sephiroth that was Vincent's child, what if Hojo was throwing around Vincent's DNA like confetti and he has other kids he didn't know about? And then they start showing up?
Premise: Vincent and Cid got married and Shera was their surrogate for their baby daughter. One night, Sephiroth started showing up in their house and taking care of his little sister and they can't make him stop, so they just get used to it. Then Vincent finds out about his other son, Nero, who is deemed unfit to stand trial and remanded to his custody under house-arrest.
WARNING: this story contains a canonical incestuous relationship between half-siblings Nero and Weiss.

Cloud didn't remember mostly anything. that did not stop him from fighting Rufus on the roof, but Rufus, somehow, manages to best him. Cloud, taken back into the building, is now under Rufus' control. Tifa and Barret do their best to come up with a plan to get him back, but when they manage it, will Cloud even want to return with them?
Painful revelations are brought about as Cloud remains with Rufus, Tseng begins to grow on him, and he is no longer sure what he should and should not believe. He is forced to question a lot, including what he knew about himself, and Shinra, particularly the younger one. There is a rather large chance Cloud will decide to forego returning to help Avalanche the longer they struggle to try and figure out how to rescue him, but will Sephiroth let his little puppet go?
