Summary

Twenty eight year old Ponyboy somehow manages to time travel to the year 1965, Tulsa. Just before Darry is about to yell at him for sleeping in the lot. While Ponyboy is now a twenty eight year older in a fourteen year old body, he notices how much different things were growing up. How obtuse past Ponyboy was to not able to tell what was right, and what was wrong. Sure, present Ponyboy isn’t a saint. But he learned. Ponyboy makes it his job to fix all the things that went wrong. Whether it’s Dallas and Johnny’s death, or events that happened after the books time of events.

Future Ponyboy travels back and times and his main goal is to fix everything, but also reflects on his young life.

The words slur due to the alcohol mixed into his system, smoke coming out his mouth.
Randy doesn't know if that was too weird. He thought they were comfortable, but maybe he’s just getting attached to the only person who seems to really understand him, even if he is a greaser.
“Yeah,” The younger laughs a bit, smiling.
Randy joined in, the alcohol and smoke making everything unnecessarily funny.
“Good, yeah, that's– that's a good thing.” He says, which is an odd thing to say for someone like him. Randy continues, “It sucks.”.

This is randy and Dallas first time meeting, very ooc and I'm sorry but NGL im shipping randy and Dallas so that is very ooc anyways .. Bob is mentioned briefly and there's low-key some flirting but it'll be seen as a joke. Two men in rival gangs exchanging sharp, teasing, borderline flirt-like insults or compliments (especially if it mixes hostility and fascination) is semi realistic for a 60s? Idk sorry..
